Yeah this looks like it was the first time Emily experienced any kind of culture shock lol. Sadly, Christmas time tend to be the most depressing time of the year for me because I am not close with my family (even though I still live with them). I've discovered (especially when it comes to my mom), I get along with them better when I am not constantly seeing them. It's also sad considering my birthday is around that time too. But yeah even I would be shocked on how 'normal' Dec. 25th would be. Also being Texan, you never get Fried Chicken at KFC, if it's a chained restaurant it's either Bill Millers or Church's Chicken. I couldn't tell you the last time I had KFC.
