I am in the same boat! Any con I go to, my go to fav is the Artist Alley. My first year at volunteering at a Con, I was in Artist Alley and a few of the artists were so nice and appreciative, I got a small free piece of art from them (which is rare because it only happened one more time another year I volunteered there) lol. I think I love Artist Alley because I am an artist myself (I do it more for fun now) and I've always loved art. So yeah if I ever got to Japan, I'll be going to this event for sure lol. I'd do the November one since I prefer colder weather lol.
