My first City2surf 2023

My first city2surf run, city2surf is the worlds largest fun run with over 80,000 participants, it’s 14km long but what sets it apart is heartbreak hill which is a 2 Kim steep climb, my official time was 01:15:49.

Nice vid! It's very impressive you filmed & ran 5:25min/km at the same time! I bet you will qualify for the red group in 2025 after qualifying for the green in 2024 :) Might see you out there!

@@BilalOz2012 yeah, I’m new to the red wave in 2023. I was automatically qualified from my 2022 result :) Hopefully, I can get sub 60 one day to be in the preferred

@@BilalOz2012 Thank you! Yeah its a very intense pace, my 10km PB pace is 4:19, it will take some time to run an extra 4k with that pace. Not to mention, heartbreak hill will slow me down too. The only person in my family who ran a sub 60 in C2S is my dad, I'm working to become the 2nd person to do it in my fam😄

@morganyuen4231 wow that’s amazing, a 10km at that pace and your dad is so fast too, 4:17 is actually my 5km pb pace, I ran parkrun in 21.25 but that was definitely my limit for a 5km lol
