My FIRST Craft Show | What Sold, What I Learned | Cricut Craft Fair Ideas THAT SELL + BEST SELLERS

CRAFT SHOW RESULTS UPDATE
I wanted to share how I did for my first show. No one was familiar with these items so I did have to explain some but everyone LOVED them!! All buyers bought multiple items. Next time I’d have a large sign with something about gifting cash the fun way
WHAT SOLD:
Money cards!! Lots of money cards! & money cakes
*Specifically Christmas & birthday themed.
Cakes that SOLD: Santa, Snowman, Reindeer & birthday cake. I sold out of all of these and took orders for more.
Cards that SOLD: Santa ran out of toys, packaged by Santa card, peace love Santa, birthday boy & girl, make a wish birthday card. And some mini cards I sold in sets of 2 that I have not released yet 🙃 I will definitely take more variations of Christmas cards next time!
🦌 reindeer food cards were the next best seller and I had so many people stop and look at them and it’s what brought them in.
I hope this helps someone! I definitely did better than I ever expected and will definitely do a show again. All of these items were unique, cheap and easy to put together! WIN 🤩
SURPRISES:
1) I accidentally ordered a discontinued card reader and didn't realize it until the night prior BUT you can download the square app and to touch to pay with just your phone! YES!
2) No one cared about the teacher cards this time of the year but they sold extremely well for back to school. Sorry, teachers!
3) The show I attended gave goody bags to the first 100 people in. I put a card in the bags to be redeemed for a FREE money card (they were mystery money cards that I wasn't selling that day, mostly leftovers from previous orders) only 20 people came to get them. I thought it would bring more people to my table. If anything, when people are stopped at your table and you get a crowd though, it helps so I still call this a WIN! Plus now I still have cards ready to go!

Congrats for doing well at your 1st craft show. I did my 1st one in November and did ok. I learned alot and it was great fun hearing the nice comments and meeting other vendors.

Congrats to you! It’s a lot of work! More than you realize, that’s for sure. I was so nervous/anxious the first couple hours but then when I finally relaxed I enjoyed it so much! I agree that it was nice hearing compliments, seeing vendors, and just the overall experience. Now we will know what to do/not to do next time!! ❤️

So many cute things:) craft fairs are always tricky on what to make and sell. The money cakes are very cute and I can see why they would be a great thing to sell as they are different:) If I can ask where did you find the pattern for the large cups and the count down looked really cute but where did you get the directions? I would have thought those would have been a huge hit:) tfs stay safe and God Bless:) 😊

Thanks! I purchased on Amazon, they’re 5x7 cello bags. Valentine designs being released next week! Along with Valentine lip balm card designs. Next is Easter and Mother’s Day designs so coming soon! ❤️

Hi, are you interested in the money cards? We love using HP printers as they have a very affordable ink subscription and it’s the best deal on ink! You would need at least a joy xtra for print then cut. Your choice if you want to spend more for a larger machine. The original joy is the only one not set up for print then cut

It's a crap shoot on what sells, but word to the wise, never make 100 of anything. 20 at best. I made 3 of one thing or 10 of something else. I did 3 shows, I sold 10 of one item at the first show, bought 10 more contaners and didn't sell anymore. Oh well. Hope you enjoyed it.

Yes, I definitely agree with that. I didn’t make many of the items I was new to selling. The money cards and cakes I already sold a lot of online so I was testing it at a craft fair setting. Most of my leftover cards from the show have been sold online since doing this fair and I took over 300 cards 🙃
