I am living at home & driving 30 mins a couple days a week to school so those 8 am classes were a struggle for me 😂 It is good to start your classes in the morning, (if you can survive it) that way you get it out of the way & have the rest of the day to procrastinate studying!!

i worked at 6 am throughout the summer and still will during college and i took a 9:30 class, a 11 class, a 3:20 pm class, and an online class. my 3:20 is my math and it's the only one that was available on the days i wanted to do school(T/Th) but i think i'll be fine with 9:30 classes. mcdonald's and startbucks are 10 mins from my college and i work at the mcdonald's close to it so it'll be nice to be able to stop for coffee on the way.

I just finished my senior year of college and am starting med school in the fall!! College was 2000x times better than high school for me, so I say good for you for getting one more year of college and one less of high school

It’s my senior year and my second year doing DE. Im in Florida also and the DE program is awesome. It’s 2 o’clock and I got done with school at 1:30. Missing out on my senior year does suck but DE puts you ahead in college and it’s awesome. Highly recommend it to anyone who has it as an option

i did the exact same thing basically. I took college classes throughout highschool to get free credit and just graduated my junior year instead. Then my “senior” year was my freshman year of college. it was SO much better than staying an extra year in highschool even though i got a lot of hate for it and people didn’t understand “why i would miss out on senior year”

I understand what you mean. Like people think that when you do dual enrollment you’re missing out in the senior experience but for some people high school just isn’t that great to pass up on free college credits. At my school it’s literally called Early College High school. All the Juniors and Seniors do dual enrollment and we’re on campus for like our entire school day. It’s pretty cool to me 🤷🏽‍♀️

I'm a sophomore in college! I suggest not doing 8 am unless that is the only class there is. For anyone that is not a senior do what Luca is doing and take dual enrollment. You can still be at your high school and enjoy your senior year but that's one thing I regret because I entered college with only 6 credits and that is from an AP class.
