I used to cry all the time for my mom when my parents would drop me off at school when i was little. So my mom came up with the idea to kiss me on the hand with matte lipstick and every time i would be sad or missed her i would just look at my hand and i would remember everything would be okay!

I remember my first day and that was 25 years ago. I remember my sister (shes 8 years older than me) walking me to the bus stop and my tiny 4 yr old self struggling up the giant steps and asking if the bus went to Weston... which is a town 3 miles away from where I lived but where my school was. I was terrified and excited but cried the whole way but seeing my mom and sister after school made it all worth it.

My oldest 1st day in school was great, I cried. My youngest 1st day she didn't cry but for a month after that she cried, screamed and bit the teacher. Would hang on to the fence. I was a wreck. She loved school after that month. Don't worry. Jackson will love it. He's a really great child.

I actually work in child care and the best thing to do is to point out cool toys as the kid is entering the room and when they run over to see the toys, quickly leave. if they cry, the best thing to do is DO NOT COME BACK IN because the workers know how to distract your kid and make them happy
