We all know that's not happening. They can have the best gameplay ever but EA will still destroy them in menu content.. and we all know most people play EA FC just for menus and rewards pretty much. Some people who mostly care about gameplay might move to UFL but EA will still have the massive majority on their side.

It definitely looks like defensively they’ve got the game pretty spot on, manual defending, no overbearing ai Defense and hand holding, they just need to maybe work on the flow of the attack and smooth out the animations, the game still looks quite floaty, I much prefer the weighty movement of Efootball where it feels like you’re actually controlling a human player who follows the laws of physics, right now the attacking play feels very much like EAFC’s anti physics movement. But defensively it looks spot on and I’m all for it!

Bro I kinda hate that about efootball bc idk if it’s my internet or just the gameplay but when I start losing in efootball for some reason the players feel kinda heavy and it’s so easy for the opponent player to catch up to my player and I be pressing on the right stick so much trying to make it faster

@@vampiro9112 yeah I fully get what you mean and I do agree about the heaviness when the connection is bad or it feels like there is a delay and when players get tired they become too heavy. But if the connection is good and you have players on Efootball with good balance they feel good to me, I love getting the ball with players like Foden/Messi/Chiesa and how agile they are but with a realistic weight to their play, they can’t just 180 turn instantly like on EAFC and sort of how UFL looks. But yeah when the connection is bad Efootball feels awful

For a beta it is quite good though. Usually it takes games few updates after RELEASE to feel good. EA has been polishing their shit for a decade and it's still shit.

Positively I like how every game isn’t ending with ten goals and it looks like you have to pass around to find openings more. Negatively if it’s going for a more realistic feel compared to EAFC they really need to sort out animations cause a lot are goofy af. I’ll definitely give it a shot time to time but it’ll be hard to sway me completely off EA as my number 1 football game

When you actually put the time in to learn the shooting mechanics you’ll know exactly how to score more often then not no matter how good they make them through trial and error, people just want shit handed to a plate for them and it’s dumb

This will be better than FC but it needs time to go online and will come with updates regarding feedback of players. I love that UFL is online and updated not released every year and losing your progress and literally all your investments. If you invest 500€ in FC you can say goodbye next year because you will not be able to transfer your packs/players to the new one and that’s STUPID, with UFL you will be able to use them literally forever…it’s exactly like buying a skin in Fortnite or any others similar game that use the same structure

The game plays unbelievably bad unfortunately. Missing hundreds of animations, making it very stiff and not fun to play at all. Also the ball mechanics and player mechanics are aweful. This is yeaaaars behind EAFC and 2K doesn't make a chance with the state they release other titles like Topspin. Konami already gave up so it seems we are stuck with EA for the foreseeable future

Just played the beta. It’s too sluggish and the ball is too floaty for me. Shooting needs some work too but there is definitely some potential.
