I love Dreamer Designs and have completed 2 so far. I have an embarrassing amount in my stash. 😂 I have a lot of Sandra Trubin, Jane Maday and David Galchutt kits. My favorite landscape artist they have is Guido Borelli and I have a couple of his. I also hate their canvas but mainly because I love using a light pad and I’m not sure if it’s because of the canvas material or the ink but it’s one of those that is more clear with overhead light. I think some people don’t realize that when they complain about the symbols. I’m thinking of ordering a custom from them for Summer With the Masters. This one you chose is beautiful and I can’t wait to see your progress 😍😍 Thank you so much for showing it to us and I hope you will enjoy working on it 😃💗

Oh my goodness, I started this canvas three days ago!! I am very new to diamond painting, I too bought using their BOGO 50%. I bought Caribbean cottage by John Clark as my second one. I rolled my canvas in the opposite direction, on the tube it came on and I don't have any problems with it staying flat (I didn't have any lint issues). I work on the dining table so I cover it with a piece of hardboard when I'm not working on it and that had helped as well. I am loving the colors!! I've had no trouble with the diamonds sticking to the canvas, so far...and I love the confetti!! :D I'll order from them again if they have designs I like.

I love Dreamer Designs and unroll their canvas, like any other company dp, I roll back the clear cellophane and replace it. Then I flatten it under a large poster board with weight on it for a couple of days. A little prep work makes the difference. Works great!!!

I bought only one dreamer design canvas so far (more of a dac girl), it was Tawny Owl in March 2021. I had so much fun doing it and gave it to my sister who loves owls!

I find them to be one 9f the higher quality dp sites, like the selections of art. Have have done a round which I really liked and now doing a square. The square is going okay....I have another square in my stash so won't make a judgement till I do another one. Drills are very sparkly and I haven't had too much trash. I agree the canvas material is to swishy for me :) definitely a company to try out a few times :)

Wow! This looks lovely. I did try a smaller butterfly and orchid kit. I knew it was going to be a bit more pixelated than I prefer, so I knew that going into it. I wanted it as a snack size in-between large projects. Plus the bright colors were right up my alley. I enjoyed it very much. I dobhave 2 Chuck Pinson landscapes from them as well as an Floral Lily in Purples (My middle daughter's name is Lily and purple is her favorite color) that I'm looking forward to doing. TFS

Hi Jessica, I actually just finished Colors of Life by Chuck Pinson from Dreamer Designs. Unfortunately I can't say it was a pleasant experience. My biggest issue was the trash drills. I filled two entire tubes in my drill storage container with trash drills and ran out of 4 colors because of that. Also I found the glue to not be sticky enough in places and my drills to slide around the canvas. The canvas material also frayed a lot for me. All of that led to a difficult time working on it, but the picture is beautiful now that it's done. I really hope you have a better experience with them than mine was. I ordered my kit last year in June 2021, began working on it in October for Drills and Chills and just finished it last week. I had to take some breaks from it so I could work on two Diamond Art Club and Craftibly Christmas kits. I wish you the best of luck with your diamond painting!

This is a beautiful canvas! It reminds me of Fuji flora from DAC which has been calling my name for sometime. I have one Dreamer Designs landscape in progress. It is my first from them. I agree with you on the canvas fabric - not a fan. The image, drills, colors are beautiful and I am enjoying it. There are a couple symbols on mine that are difficult to distinguish. Hi Jessica! I quite like Dreamer Designs, their drills are very sparkly and the colours are super bright! But I find that their rendering can be a little bit pixelated and there's a bit of gapping that people tend to complain about. I agree with you on canvas material, I much prefer the soft back canvases but I would still order from them as I think they are a quality company to order from with lovely artwork.

I don't think I've ever posted a review of Dreamer Designs but if you can be bothered to look through my video on my completed diamond paintings (I think I posted it in January), there's a couple finished paintings from them there and I may have given some info because I usually ramble a lot, though I can't quite remember what I said exactly. I really enjoyed working on the snow deer, I think the title was 'First Winter' but I think it is discontinued now. It was super sparkly and lovely colours, just slightly pixelated but I still loved working on it. Hi Jessica! I also do things that I would not necessarily hang on my wall just for the different experience. You should see my Craft- Ease PBN for example, I actually cringe at some designs, but want the fun and challenge. You always manage to put into words what I'm thinking, lol. I get yah! I have a couple of Dreamer. It is a different tactile experience as well that differs from the others. Their square is really nice and gives a different effect. Their round is easy to do and I do like their pre- printed border that makes the edges look so neat. There is a lot of sparkle that is often concentrated in one larger area, and ( I'm typing and you just said the word tactile, lol) it's a bit too much . FYI working on a Ellen Lescot from Craft- Ease PBN. When are you going to try greyscale colouring?

I read your comment and have done 2 DD rounds. I had a good experience with both. I had some minor fraying that I had to put washi tape on. I haven't tried their squares so I can't speak to that but I did an Elen Lescot from DIYMOONSHOP and her artwork is so dang cute! @@dianalovescolors They have a ton of them in Paint by Number and I assume that they have a lot in DPs too because whatever is seen in the PBN section is usually copied in the DP section for the most part. Glad that you found out about it. I'm currently doing Jungle Girl. I eventually want to do the PBN of the little boy and the dragon for my baby grandson, There are so few images of little boys in the world of crafts. I also had the fraying problem with the Dreamer canvases.

I have done both Dreamer Designs and Diamond Art Club and I prefer Diamond Art Club because of the symbols. I have trouble with Dreamer Designs and their symbols because they are so similar some times. I don't mind the fabric, but the symbols are a big issue for me. I think they have beautiful drills though with very little trash. Sometimes the rendering does give me a headache too. Not sure if it is the symbols or the coloring. The packaging is a wonderful facet and I do really like the drills so will probably buy more

I have done several DD pieces and I agree with you...overall it is a positive experience. Some of their canvases tend to ravel extensively, which can be annoying. Their symbols can be tricky but I have learned to appreciate the challenge instead of cursing them. And, I have run into some minor glue/trashy drill issues but not often (I have never run out, even with the trash). They have an artist (David Galchutt) who I adore, so the small flaws don't hold me back.

I tend to really not enjoy commercial-esque "hotel art" too much. I agree that many of their designs in preview look like they need a little more hand-adjusting. Fingers crossed that this one turns out nice! :) I think it might be worth it to them to downgrade their packaging investment and upgrade their investment in studio artists. That's just my two cents though. :)

I live in the countryside of Japan. There are no flamingo looking birds here, not even close. The shape and size of that crane is correct, the color is simply absurd. Please make it blue gray. I did Patio For Two and Butterfly and Orchid. i bought both in the past just to experience the product. I found that doing two, one square and the other round, satisfied the craving. I'm currently working on Blue Fairy from DAC sent to me by a dear friend. I mostly focus on line art colouring these days. I practice line art everyday and do lots of greyscale illustrations , not photos. I think that you would love colouring the greyscale portraits like those from Christine Karron. It is so technical and challenging but is very satisfying. I know you love portraits and I think that it would open up a whole avenue of creativity that you would enjoy and really activates the brain.:P Of course because of you, I'm hooked on Craft-Ease PBN as I always tell you. They are super relaxing compared to any other craft. They have also led me to feeling more confident about using other mediums on my colouring pages. I discovered that the kind of detail brush that I need is one that has "some snap" compared to the softer bendy detail brushes. A sales person in the art store who is an artist, put words to the type of brush that I was seeking, isn't it a perfect way of describing a slightly stiffer detail brush? You are one of my favourite youtubers because you enjoy and discuss the philosophy and the technical! I'm always nodding my head when I watch you because you manage to walk around in my brain...haha.

Before I sign off, just want to tell you about a product the artist sold me at the art store to make the Craft-Ease paint perform better when I encounter those few problem colours. I was all set to purchase Liquitex, but he told me to try Airbrush Medium by Golden. The bottle reads tat it thins acrylic painting for spraying. He said to add one to two drops directly to the tiny paint container and stir. I used my instincts and added more than that depending on the container. You start with one to two, stir, paint and see if you want to add more. So far, I'm really liking the result. I think I remember you saying that you add dish soap to yours, but that didn't work for me. It is an American product and not too expensive and worth a try.Also, when some paint dried out, Craft- Ease sent me free of charge new white paint without any hesitation. I have had left over paint for months from them and I'm still using it on colouring pages.
