there is a local hobby store near me and the owner hates people that drift RC cars. I don't even know why. But i'm glad you enjoy it and you find it challenging. I think RC drift is fun just like off road buggies. i find them both appealing. nice channel man keep it up

@bhdproduction2007 Thanks! It's probably because he's not good at it. 😃 I enjoy all different kinds of RC. It's odd that someone would pick out a specific type and then hate anyone who likes it. Drifting is super challenging. They only true way to learn is lots of wheel time.

Great work! From the running footage, you are already doing great on track. Keep it up!

@RoadsideRC Thanks. Getting the Gyro set right was a huge help.

JeeZuz, your presentation is excellent! Thank you for breaking down all the different models in the Yokomo drift car lineup! I'm so confused looking at their "website(s)". There are Lots of Yokomo scam sites out there PLUS, they don't have a comparison chart of their models. It's so confusing to a newbie like myself. I'm a buy-once, cry-once type of person. I'm debating between a: MST RDX2.5 kit, Redcat RDS, AE DC10, or this Yokomo SD3.0. The Yokomo seems like the top of the heap as far as parts availability long-term. I want a MST BMW E30 body for mine along with their adjustable offset mesh wheel set. Looks is high on the priority scale along with parts availability.

@@gaffle-411 I would recommend the DC10 or SC3.0. My DC10 runs very well. I am literally building the SD3.0 right now. Buy once cry once. Go with the Yokomo.

Oh hey! I know you haha! I'm the guy with the blue R34 drift car. We've talked a couple times at ZT.

The SD2.0 Is a great chassis, you won't be disappointed in it! It's my current favorite and my main chassis. Can't wait to get some laps with you at Zero Traction!

Nicely done vid! I’ve seen you out at ZT when you were first dialing it in. Looking forward to seeing you swing this thing more! PS: don’t be afraid of comps either! I’ve only been in the hobby a few months myself & I’ve been attending ZT’s weekly comps on Thursdays. That said, drifting is great fun either way and I hope you’re getting as much of a kick out of it as the rest of us are!

I just recently got the sd2.0 and I’m still learning on it but I’m happy with the car as well
@hyperc52494 ай бұрын
@jeremiahaustin485 yeah. It's definitely the best bang for the buck kit. Lots of carbon and aluminum.

I should be picking one of these up this Wednesday. I was looking for somewhere to drift next Monday but no tracks that I know of are open Monday. I was even looking at driving 4 hours out to the track you're talking about but also no running Monday. I currently go to Twisted Lanes in Machesney Park Il.
@hyperc52495 ай бұрын
@mowaby Yeah, a lot of RC tracks are closed on Monday and Tuesday. Typically, because they are open all weekend, and that is their days off. They should be like 24 hour Gyms. Pay for a monthly subscription and drift all day and night.

@@hyperc5249 I work nights so like a membership with a key type of thing would be epic. I wouldn't expect that to happen because most of them are also hobby shops. Twisted Lanes is closed Monday and Wednesday but also open the rest of the week. Fri/Sat tend to go late.

You beat me to the new tag line! That was my first thought too as that you were gonna have to add drift to your outro. 😂 What’s the name of the drifting place?

@CK4RC Zero Traction. Check it out. Jeremiah, the owner and the community, are a great group of guys.

hey i just got into drifting and looking at building a car...ive been looking at the yokomo SD3.0, was just wondering which servo, gyro and motor you recommend?
@hyperc524912 күн бұрын
@kornbread944 The exact same ones in this video. I have a SD3.0 build video coming soon.
