You know I’ve grown sick of influencers “content creators” since life has returned to normal post Covid. I never cared about the materialistic things that people show, for me it’s seeing everyday life. I’d imagine it’s harder to be a content creator at the present time with so many uttering that same sentiment. I’d happily stop watching any of the others and keep your channel only. You Josie are the exception. You add a lot of variety, keep it real, don’t put on any faux-pas, your content seems very organic and enjoyable. It always relaxes me. I do exactly the same with my bedding. Pull the duvet right back leave for 1 hr and then make the bed. I was told this helps the bed to cool and sunlight will kill any bedbugs. I do also vacuum the matress everyday to pick up any dead skin cells.

I'm very hard on shoes. Even my most beloved that I think I'm taking good care of I seem to scuff, and find something I did to them the next time I go to wear them, even though I think I'm checking them over. It's a sad sad predicament for people who have instep issues, etc. Plus! When you have tiny feet like Josie and I, and I can't speak for her, but people seem to always walk on my stupid feet! What the heck is that about!

I'd definitely add cardigan like that to your wardrobe but from a different brand. You can still get high quality, sustainabilty and a sense of luxury for a much lower price then spend the money on something with more of an impact. I've abandoned the idea of summer coming back and have started thinking about jackets and coats. 😅😅

The reason you don’t see people unbox online orders is because most Hermes lovers don’t place online orders! The reason is because online orders don’t really count towards the “spend requirements” to qualify for a quota bag. Instead, they go to the store to make their purchases so they count towards the next bag they want to purchase! Enjoy your new things!

Hi Josie! Fellow bumblebee lover here, and whenever I find a tired bumblebee I mix up a little sugar water on a spoon and leave it next to the bee. I read this somewhere, and it helps give them enough energy to get back to the hive because otherwise they may not make it. Now I do it every time and they always drink up and fly away a few minutes later! Love your vlogs by the way ☺

Josie I've been in a little low stage of my life recently and just bed ridden and struggling with a chronic illness but you've really really helped me get excited to try make a garden to keep myself busy. Not been wearing make up or anything as it's winter in new zealand and all cold but now I'm looking at lovely flowy dresses and all the clothes you've shown I'm obsessed. Hi Josie, airing your bed is something people always did in the past, along with daily turning the mattress (today they often are manufactured to even not be turned.) The idea of airing your bed is to cool down the sheets/mattress/duvet and air, so microbes don’t grow. Turning the mattress (over and then 90 degrees the next day) is to stop it sagging in the same place. Hope this helps! 👍

Hey Josie, 🤍 Love from Australia! My Nan who had the most beautiful roses, taught me that if you hold the rose hip/ dead rose head between your fingers and snap it, the dead rose head should come of in one clean break. Just comes in handy when you’re out with no shears 👩‍🌾🌹 Happy gardening x

I am definitely a bed maker. I used to never make my bed until I met my husband, who makes the bed every day, and now has me doing it as well. It is strangely satisfying, I enjoy having a small/manageable accomplishment first thing in the morning, and I love laying down in a freshly made bed at the end of each day.

Dear Josie, it's lovely vlog as always and really brings you into my rainy day. As for the green linen dress from Net-a-Porter maybe try to close the neckline with some ladder stitches first. It's a way easier quick fix then adjusting the shoulder seam and it shouldn't affect the waistline as much. If that doesn't help or you don't like it you still could tackle the shoulder seam. 🙂

My experiences with Hermes have all been positive. They are a lovely company to deal with, helpful staff and the quality of their items excellent. Josie, you should start collecting their scarves, their designs are always a notch above all other brands and beautiful silk ties for men. I know you are looking at a high price point but these are investment pieces, with care, you will have that cardigan for life and that, plus the design, is what you are paying for.

Stopped binge watching a tv series as soon as I saw the Hermès boxes 😂. Please get a smaller size in the belt, too expensive to adjust it yourself and as you said it doesn't have something to tuck in. So it will just flap if you put another hole in. Also, althoughhhhh the cardigan is very spenny for a cardigan, I do quite like it lol (opposite of the comments I know) but nothing wrong with oversized and you'll defo still wear it with knitted dresses in autumn etc like you did when you tried it, looks quite cool. Do also like all the other purchases too. With the green dress, if it isn't to tight on the waist with the smocking at the back, maybe take it up on the top of the shoulders/neck area x

Hi Josie a good recipe I do to use up abundance of veg is veg Pattie’s - grate carrot, zucchini and corn and mix with a egg and a bit of flour with herbs and spices (paprika yum) and grill on frypan - serve goats cheese or yogurt/chilli or chutney. Yum yum yum

Oh my gosh! I think the knit dress is amazing on you- just gorgeous!! And I think the cardigan is classic not granny- is it a bit roomy....yes.... but you want to be able to layer over other items and feel super cozy- plus if you wear it over some slimmer bottoms (leggings) it would look awesome as well as over dresses. Keep both of them!

On another note I was wondering what makeup your mum uses as I would think that she would be about late 50s as well and wondering what she finds best .
