Hi Ben. Thanks for cheering us on after your finish. I saw you at the bridge crossing the railways (16:15 location) and wanted to go say "hi" but I was too shy in the moment... I was dealing with cramps from 28-42km and felt miserable at the time. My time was 4h38min. I was looking forward to run my 1st marathon but this was not my day unfortunately.. 😥 I hope to meet you another day. Congrats on reaching your goal and I hope you and Meg enjoyed the visit to CPH.

What an achievement!! This young lad is an amazing inspiration for all of us!! Being able to run a 2:28 marathon just after two years of running is mind boggling. He's just 23 and full of potential, I think if he moves to Kenya for a year and train at high altitude, in Iten, he can still improve massively. I hope to see him breaking the 2:20, 2:15 and 2:10 barriers in the coming years.
