I have a Redcat Kaiju and Redcat Machete 6s… they’re great in value… and comparable to traxxas in some cases. My biggest gripe I saw in this vid is the use of Ec5 plugs in a Xt90… did you not learn about it from rc guy garage?!

hopefully they sell the crap out of them and can afford to do some licensed bodies The deal with red cat is simple it's $250 less than the max and you get the performance of the max and then some cases more performance but the durability is gonna be like 1/4 of the maxx. I speak from experience having all mentioned trucks, except obviously this one

@NiklasAdv You are not missing anyrhing. The Maxx is the only Traxxas that I have liked but every other one that I wasted tons of money on and sold were horrible. The Maxx/slash being a prime example of an awful rc at any price let alonw $700.

you're great like the videos Red cats always been great for great value underneath an extreme fugliness on top I've had the kaiju fusion ascent marksman and wendi, all great trucks but the only legitimately good looking ones are the marksman and the Wendigo and the marksman isn't for everybody either but literally twice the value that you get out of other brands , fixing them is never fun but it is always doable and always seem to break where other trucks don't they have really great rigs overall 6s kaiju Which had a non-RC related unfortunate end is a crushing truck for 450 Nails triple bf no problem, I know it's an older truck but you should order one and review it you will absolutely love it overall the red cat brand has achieved the impossible they had the worst reputation imaginable for the longest time and they've turned that around 180 and they're a good brand not the best brand somewhere around associated but a player and they're not going anywhere, forces market leaders like Traxxas to keep innovating. it's always the same cycle every 10 years Traxxas reinvents a category and then everybody copies them for another 10 years. You can't go wrong with any true hobby grade if I'm honest, red cat is finally there

It has some weight to it but I dont feel like its too bad for its size. I would like to see more flex in it I guess time will tell how good it will hold up but so far I like what I see.

BINDING a Dx5c and avc receiver makes a huge difference in this truck, well the MT vwrsion. It now drives straight as an arrow plus very easy to comtrol. The Avc Sport receiver would ne best I think. I have the 62000at in there but its a tight fit and I had to mount it flat. Tbe Sport ine might mount like the stock one which gives more space.

This is exactly my WOV Racing Tyrants!!! Body mount and body are about the only difference. Nice cause my chassis cracks under motor on jumps. Hopefully the redcat chassis flexes a bit more !😁🤙🏼

The Kraton is a totally different car and price point. This is fast very fast and it seems well made I am not sure if this plastic will hold up to people wanting big air. I think on 3s its a great entry level rc that should hold up. The Kraton is more robust with the chassis and parts the power is strong and it can put it down better. It depends on your budget and what you are looking for its always more money to go up in power. The Kraton is the better choice for hard bashing but this Recat is not bad especially at the price its hard to beat but I would say to compare the 2 would be an unfair competition the 4s Kraton is a better comparison.

I've got 20 Redcats. That thing costs 460 dollars with one battery and a charger. 575 with two batteries. Don't confuse it with being a 300 dollar deal of some sort. Those front tires aren't even close to being aligned. And if you look at the chassis from underneath, the front tongue is going to snap off just like the Volcano does. Very weak design that's over 13 years old. You can see where it's going to break right behind the front swing arms. One time you'll hit something head on and snap that piece in half. With the Volcano you have to buy a full metal chassis for it, to stop it. I expect the same will be true with the Valkyrie because it's the same exact design. And being 4s, she's got to be pretty heavy. I'm very surprised not to see a metal crash plate on the bottom front of this thing. Much cheaper RC's have them. And plastic CV axles? They didn't work too good in the Ground Pounder for final drive, drive axles. In fact, they were the first thing that broke. I'm sorry, I'll take my less than half price X07 with a gyro anyday.

if they are such crap why do you have 20 of them? Its ridiculous to add the battery price you are acting like a battery and charger is needed for each car thats not true. Hate to tell you bigger cars like the 6s maxx slash have plastic axles so does the 4s Arrma line up the Rustler so you have no argument there same with metal needed nobody has broke this chassis. stick with your xo7 whatever and 20 redcats you hate 🤣🤣🤣🤣

@@L2theWcarscoffeelife that's one I noticed what is nice about the arrma granite 3s it has a power down button on the controller believe it goes from 100 to 70 to 50 which is nice for newbies just getting into RC cars

It is a nice feature for those needing it you can look up the minimal battery and run a smaller pack as well that will reduce power granted not as nice as the switch but its an option

So I have the red cat machete 6S I'm getting ready to get the Valkyrie 4S I need a 4S system to go along with some 4S batteries I've got I'd love to get an 8S system anyway I hate the body clips You're absolutely right they suck they're extremely difficult I don't know how they are on the Valkyrie but how they are on the machete they're just ridiculous but I love the car overall it's seriously fast and I have a 19 tooth pinion on it and it rips I have giant tires on it much bigger than the stock that were on there and I'm sure I'll do the same thing with the Valkyrie I already know which tires I want Badland 3.8 but the XT90 connection blows my mind I can barely get mine unplugged like I really feel like I'm going to rip the wires out all the time because the connection is so tight but you're like the third reviewer I've seen say something about the connectors that just blows my mind anyway great video man thank you

The body clips are very tight its a real pain, I dont have much in the way of batteries with the xt plugs so it easier and I like the ec/ic plugs better I wish we could standardize this but thats not going to happen thank you for watching and the comment
