Not to be annoying but I used to be a coach for axe throwing, the trick is to keep your elbows straight and let go a little earlier than you think you should. Also don't move your wrist when you are throwing, it's not a baseball and it's gonna feel awkward and wrong but I promise it works ! Fun video

I'll say a trick for most of those strong man hammer games is less strength and more making sure the mallet hits square onto the hitting platform. If you can get that hit flat you can use gravity to do the hard part. And for bows the pulling strength should come from pulling your shoulderblade back to meet the other instead of your forearms. It makes it easier to win bets that way 😉

This was so much fun to watch. Also, the "trick" to the throwing axe is to not have your thumb wrapped around the handle when releasing, then you just have to throw it straight.

The Ren Faire upstate of me has been unfortunately deteriorating, over the past few years, due to poor management (and being owned by a tax dodger who treats the different acts like he owns them, too [most of them are independent and travel to different festivals to perform]). Luckily, closer to home is my state's Faerie Festival, which is similar to Ren Faire but has more of the high fantasy whimsy. I've been enjoying it, whenever I can, and I usually go as my catfolk pirate character, Purrcivala Dangerfloof. 🥰 I'm glad you're finally getting a chance to explore your state's festivals, Danny! Hope you get chances in the future to visit them again! 💖

I never realized just how young you are! You make great content, I especially love your shorts, cause they're relatable even to an old millennial like me. But this video, new experiences, first time renfair, waiting to use a drinking horn... I've been to my fair share if renaissance fairs, and seeing you experience it fresh, brought me a lot of joy! Side note, I wish I could have purchased that much gear when i was your age!!! I lost all my best renfair apparel in a car fire this past year, so I'm starting fresh again myself. Atleast I'm in a somewhat better financial situation than when I started my collection. So it will be easier to rebuild. This video reminded ne of how much fun it can be to start from scratch. I feel better about putting away my losses, and starting over on my renfair look

Ren fairs are so much fun, I'm so glad you got to go to one! I've been going to Ren fairs since i was a little kid with my mom and we knew some people at the fair, a couple where one was a smith while the other made jewelry and one of the fairies. My favorite familiar to get everytime we could afford it was a small dragon with tiny wings that you could wrap around something (like your arm) and it would stay in place, and some of them were glow in the dark

I wish going to the Renn Fest was this fun where I am. Last year I went with my family who is super not into it, and it was kind of me just excitedly running around while they were just meh.
