Okay but can we PLEASE stop this “Fuck around and find out” shit.? It’s scaring me like bro yes, we are doomed. BUT QUIT DIGGING OUR HOLE DEEPER

I tend to wake up around 4am. Its pretty reliable, what isnt reliable is whether i _stay_ awake after that point. Given the opportunity, i will pass tf back out and be dead until fuck knows when. My circadian rythm likes to do what i call its little 'march', where it starts shifting ever later. It'll start out as me going to sleep around 11 and waking up at 4 it'll work its way on through to close that 4am gap. Then im nocturnal for a while because it wants to keep waddling its way back around to around 9-ish and I'll stay there a while but it will start creeping later and later again

Coolio and all, but this is still modern english. Old English looks more like this: Ymbe þa feower timan we wyllað cyðan iungum preostum ma þinga, þæt hig magon þe ranclicor þas þing heora clericum geswutelian.

Funny skit, but this is still modern english, it's just more poetic or "high-level vocab", as my teachers used to call it and probably over the top use :) Middle-english you could maybe barely understand, but with old english you'd have no chance. (Also personally, as a non-native speaker, I find every version of english great) E.g. middle english, epitath of john the smyth, 1371: man com & se how schal alle dede li: wen þow comes bad & bare noth hab ven ve awaẏ fare: All ẏs wermēs þt ve for care Translation: Man, come and see how all dead men shall lie: when that comes bad and bare, we have nothing when we away fare: all that we care for is worms: Old english, Beowulf, around 1000 AD: Syððan ǣrest ƿearð fēasceaft funden, hē þæs frōfre ġebād, (...) Translation: After destitution was first experienced (by him), he met with consolation for that; (...)

Me, staying in my uni for an extra 5 weeks after the end of foundation just to cut that 8 week “break” short before degree. Cuz Imma be masking 24/7 in my own house & being afraid to untie my hair at all for fear that my dad might just get annoyed & tell me to cut my long hair (which is my personal reassurance that I’m “free”).

I will literally look at the ceiling, the wall or the floor when I'm talking TO someone, but I will practically stare without blinking when someone is talking to me cuz I can focus on their words better when I look at THEM.
