My First Experience In Timisoara, Romania | Travel Vlog

Welcome Adventurers to a new travel video, a new destination!
In this new travel vlog, i head to Timisoara! A beautiful vibrant city located in the western part of Romania, which borders Hungary and Serbia, Timișoara is considered the informal capital city of the historical Banat. From 1848 to 1860 it was the capital of the Serbian Vojvodina and the Voivodeship of Serbia and Banat of Temeschwar. With 250,849 inhabitants at the 2021 census, Timișoara is the country's fifth most populous city. It is home to around 400,000 inhabitants in its metropolitan area, while the Timișoara-Arad conurbation concentrates more than 70% of the population of Timiș and Arad counties. Timișoara is a multicultural city, home to 21 ethnicities and 18 religions. Interculturality has long been a special characteristic of the western part of the country. Conquered in 1716 by the Austrians from the Ottoman Turks, Timișoara developed in the following centuries behind the fortifications and in the urban nuclei located around them. During the second half of the 19th century, the fortress began to lose its usefulness, due to many developments in the military technology. Former bastions and military spaces were demolished and replaced with new boulevards and neighbourhoods.

Haha, nice, my country! Timisoara, Romania was the first city in Europe in which the electric street lighting was introduced. You should also visit Sibiu, Brasov + Bran, and Bucharest, the old town.

That looks really nice and the weather looked not bad after all the rain we are getting, I spotted a nice VW van looked in top shape I think they like keeping their parks looking great with flower displays really sow a lot of them , I have been to Isai which is close to Moldova. It has some great buildings the Palace of Culture I remember and some churches ect. So gate crashing a wedding now are you lol. Cheer's and look forward to the next video,

I missed Timisoara last time I was in Romania. I visited Bucharest, Sinaia and Cluj. Feel better bro. The architecture of the city is fantastic. The central square, the colors of the buildings. I like the umbrella street, I think Bucharest has one like that. Gorgeous Cathedral. How are the drone laws in Romania? Well done.

i went through timisoara back in 2004 on my way to Serbia but only overnighted at a hotel near the station. it looks super impressive through your video! It wasnt really a place people stopped back then.

You have hardly shown anything, just your face. You haven't talked to the locals, you haven't been to any restaurant, and regarding the music, i don't see any sense in it, don't take this the wrong way but if you want to grow in youtube as a vlogger this is not the right way.

I appreciate your feed back Paul, not taken the wrong way what so ever! I do agree with you, I do try but social anxiety is a killer at the best of times, especially talking to a camera! It’s a challenge for me but I strive to get out of my comfort zone and try to improve!
