It's only spinbotting and rapidfire, people still can smell everything. In one of my games t's always knew when and where to plant bomb, bro we paid for cheaters and bot farms, this is so ridiculous. Most broken game of the century

I feel like valve is just giving up on VAC entirely and they're remaking anticheat for cs2 from scratch, which is why all the bans aren't actually VAC but some kind of serverside anticheat

the main issue with his games is because of how good he is people report him his so his trust factor is lower meaning hes going to get 10x the cheater games than a normal player

i don't know anything about anti-cheats in general, or how valve's making this whole thing work, but won't these cheats be down for like a week or 2, and then they'll just find a way to bypass the server-side detection and then we're all back in the same boat for another month until vac live maybe detects it again 🤔

I think I remember Haix claiming that the monthly subscription cheats just did some sort of update like a day after the VAC wave and that was the end of their customers getting banned. Any way to verify it? But that's so sus if true tbh. Houw could cheat developers have info by what criteria or mechanic the VAC detected their cheats unless they have insider info from Valve..

Because anticheats currently only look for signatures. So if they change the signature they are not detected any more. Also if they ones in a while do something a little bit more clever the cheat developers can get the VAC code and analyze it. VAC is loaded from a server onto your computer and started. I don't know about the timing, probably either when you start the game or when you connect to a VAC server. They can intercept the data and dump it onto the hard drive, decompile and read the code..

valve is doing something groundbreaking atm. They are adding systems ontop of the vac system to prevent cheating. VAC alone, is checking if you manipulated or changed the gamefiles which is probably outdated atm. The system valve is adding atm is a server sided detection software (AI) based on pattern recognition. with my understanding therw is no easy way cheatdevelopers cant just find a way to make ragecheating work again cause it matters what we as players gonna see (player behavior) not the code is the issue. the hit rate must be adjusted but thats their goal imo

@@Unlogikmann Not true. VAC also checks the processes running on your system and matches their signature against their database of known cheats which is pretty empty though. It also checks if a process tampers with the files or processes of the game but this detection is laughably easy to evade if the cheat has the same rights as the AC. As most cheats run in kernel mode any ways every AC has lost that battle already even if they run in kernel mode themselves. The server side detection you are talking about has not be AI. In fact it should not be AI because machine learning by architecture has an error rate which does not only mean a high rate of false negatives but also a high rate of false positives which is a total no go for an AC. If they don't want every single detected case to be validated by humans they need to stay away from AI. AI is not a magical bullet for all problems. Vacnet was trained for years and was only detecting spinbots with an abysmal error rate of 10% and sent them to overwatch for validation. There were way too many cheaters compared to overwatchers to even make a dent. CSGO was a cheater shit show. A better way would be to just write a few lines of code to detect those cheats on the server reliably without AI. It's pretty easy and would use considerably less resources than AI would..

spinbotters are gone... ah na not rly also had 2 of them in the same game yesterday :D All the legit cheaters remain so nothing changed. The first 3 - 4 days after the update where absolut playable without cheaters but i tell you since the weekend they are all back with legit cheats like before. But yeah you feel more to have a change when they dont spin and many of the just rly bad like the cheater in renyans team. And give this another week theere new spinbots and we will see many many helicpoters again :D
