MY FIRST GAME VS A PURE POST SCORER IN NBA 2K25..

this year the defence inside is different. Interior D is what make the ball miss. Block is only the ability to jump. SO high block low Interior D is verrrrrry bad. Your hand will be all over the place but no contest . The same works for primeter. You can jump into someones face on shooting , if you dont have primeter D , it gonna be open. WHICH is actually exactly how defence under the basket and on primeter should be. Finaly you need strong big guys to be able to play good interior Defence, not like last years where 6,7 / 6,8 could play the exact good Defence under the basket like 7,0 paintdefender could. Its actually a good thing tbh.

Everything u said is spot on, I’m a 6’8 pure lockdown with a 93 block and 77 interior. I even +1 my paint patroller so it’s on hof, I cannot play hands up on the 7 footers have to get a block.

Made a 6’4 with max wingspan and 71 block and 75 interior and I stop big men in the paint easily. I also get jump contests on the perimeter with a 75 vert and only a 50 perimeter D that goes to a 71. Defense is easy. U don’t need a high perimeter D tbh.

This is definitely facts, my first center was built like my center on 2k24. 80 interior, 88 block and 7’2 wingspan but I felt like my contest where all over the place. I remade him with 90 interior, 93 block and 7’10 wingspan. I’m now a beast in the paint defensively. I wish I woulda went 99 on both lol

Yo laker I run the same line up as you pure slash nd stretch but my stretch teammate is 6’8. I have 90% I played those kids, it’s easy to cheese these post line ups when your 2 is much faster than their post. Also I have standing dunk. I feel like it would be easier for you with it cuz I was doing put backs on that lock after boarding

Blocking dunks needs to be buffed. Layup defense if fine for me but i have 97 block and you cannot block driving dunks at all also i havent seen any ppl really bricking dunks due to my hof paint patroller. If they get a driving dunk animation its almost impossible to stop it.

Why be a 7’1 Post Scorer when you can be a 7’3 Post Scorer ? Doesn’t 7’3 Have more attribute space meaning they can put more attributes in thier build?

7'3 is not IT at all. The game would have been over for them much faster cause it's sacrificing more athleticism compared to the 7'1. Even Laker said the tallest you should go this year is 7'1 cause these 6'7-6'9 are just going to run around you for position to get board if you aren't already there.
