It's a great video and I have two questions, where do you recommend buying retro consoles? Do you restore other consoles, for example, the Game Boy Advance SP? P.S. Sorry for my bad English, i speak spanish and now i learn english.

Hey bud, in this particular case I got them from ebay. The plan is to restore them all, starting with these game boy classic, then color, and so on. I'll get to the Game Boy Advance SP at some point ;). Gracias por el comentario.

thanks for the comment! I get most of the stuff from Aliexpress and ebay but in some cases I check out some of the more specialized stores like RetroModding or RetroGameRepairShop. Glad you enjoyed the video

@11:36 what kind of IPA do you use? Would Lagunitas be adequate?

you can get a Lagunitas IPA to celebrate after the repair :D. Joking aside, IPA in this scenario stands for "Isopropyl Alcohol" and any IPA over 90% should work well when cleaning electronics.

t would be nice if you explained the parts you were using.... like, what's the new screen/board you put into it? Do you have a link to where you got it? Stuff like that would be really nice to know. As I would love to buy one myself. Also, could you maybe make the text a bit darker? Maybe a black outline around it or make it bolder with a bigger font? For people like me with bad eyes, it would be helpful. Outside of that - great video. I am subbing, I can't wait to see your channel grow! I can tell you will only get better with time.

thanks for the feedback! on newer videos I changed the font size for a bigger one that should be easier to read. For the screen I used here it was a generic one I got from ebay (doesn't have a brand) but for my personal gameboy (second video in this channel) I used a Hispeedido IPS screen and I think it's a bit better than this one. Hope that helps!

My comment is, Why did you pick the middle yellow one? I get it that you wanted to try out retro bright, but that doesn't last long. You need to keep doing it every so often. But over all, it's nice to see death come to life in the Retro world.

Retro Bright can last a very long time. I did my Gameboy 8 years ago and it is still fine. If you do it right, it will last.
