I get ur point though and ur comment made me kinda compare myself to white old Truck owners in the US. I'm thankful for that realisation and I guess my opinion for unlimited speed is comparable to there arguments regarding gun handling rights. that being said… Speed IS safer than guns. We can make traveling at high speeds safer with each generation of cars, a gun will still kill though

Die denkt garnicht, die kommt nach Deutschland und meint einfach mal so 250 zu heizen. Alles gut kann man gerne machen, aber dann beschäftige dich bitte vorher mit den Verkehrsregeln in DE. Ich bin ja auch nicht für ein Tempolimit, aber dieser „Autobahntourismus“ ist auf jedenfalls sehr gefährlich. Ich möchte damit nicht sagen, dass wir die in DE Leben mit der Geschwindigkeit umgehen können. Dennoch sind wir damit mehr vertraut wie man sich bei solchen Verkehrsteilnehmern verhalten sollte. Du bringst es mit deinem Kommentar einfach auf den Punkt ohne dieses Thema anzusprechen. Danke für diesen Kommentar👍🏻

Ein Fehler, welcher dir bei dieser Geschwindigkeit passiert, oder ein technischer Defekt am Fahrzeug, wären in 99% der Fälle tödlich. In diesem Falle: Hoffentlich nur für den Betreffenden selbst....

Auf dem Rückweg von meinem Bruder (Stuttgart) konnte ich trotzdem nicht schneller als 200 fahren, obwohl Berg runter. In der Werkstatt meinte der Techniker zuerst, dass es nicht stimmen würde räumte zum Schluss dann aber ein: "Das merkt auch nur 1 von 1000" War mein letzter Opel...

Komisch... wenn ich auf der Autobahn bin, habe ich eher das Gefühl das bei >90 % das Tempolimit bei 130 erreicht ist. Ca. 5 % trauen sich bis 150, 4 % bis 180 und das restliche 1 % fährt das Maximalmögliche. Irgendwie verlangsamt sich der Verkehr aktuell. Nicht nur Autobahn, sondern ganz allgemein. Mir fällt das jedenfalls in den letzten 10 Jahren auf. 50 in der Stadt? Ne, 45 reicht. Pennen an der Ampel, beim Abbiegen quasi anhalten. Komme aus dem Kölner Raum

@@consti5190 Bei 7:21-8:10 rollt die mit 0-10 km/h auf der Autobahn, also scheinbar hast du Recht. (Sieht so aus, als ob sie sogar auf der linken Spur fährt, weil links nur Autos in die andere Richtung fahren). Das ist richtig gefährlich und man kann sich bei solchen Autobahn-Touristen (und auch bei denen die mit 80 km/h Links rüberziehen, obwohl jemand von hinten angeschossen kommt und den LKW Fahrern auf der dritten Spur) dafür bedanken, dass es wahrscheinlich wirklich irgendwann überall limitiert ist…

Ja, es wird dabei auch mal gegessen oder getrunken. ABER! Nach Möglichkeit beide Hände am Lenkrad. Auch wenn das Auto mit einer Hand auf der Spur bleibt, du weißt nicht, ob der weiter vorn plötzlich mit 80 raus zieht und du auf den Standstreifen ausweichen musst, weil der Bremsweg zu kurz ist. Ich habe es schon oft genug gehabt, dass die Leute einfach nicht gescheit in den Spiegel schauen. Danach hieß es erstmal Bremsen kühlen, dank fading.

Der deutsche Autofahrer hat täglich seinen Mut zu beweisen, indem er grundsätzlich möglichst schnell fährt und andere Autos bei hoher Geschwindigkeit aggressiv mit Fernlicht, Blinker , Hupe und nicht vorhandenem Sicherheitsabstand nötigt. Grundsätzlich gilt im deutschen Straßenverkehr folgende Regel: Jeder Autofahrer hat immer Recht , je stärker die Motorisierung und je höher das Tempo, umso mehr Recht.

Wir haben bereits festgestellt dass das CO2 einsparungspotential mehr als lachhaft ist und die deutsche Autobahn gilt als eine der sichersten Straßen der Welt. Klar könnte man Maßnahmen ergreifen um die Autobahn sicherer zu machen, wie zB digitale Schilder aufstellen die vor Gefahren warnen können, ein generelles Tempolimit aufgrund Ideologischer Ansichten ist aber keine sinnvolle Maßnahme.

@@lorenzmuller4000 1. Es gibt nur ganz wenige Strecken, die man bequem mit Höchstgeschwindigkeit befahren kann und das auch nicht immer. Norwegian Blue drivers here in Germany are generally very good. If you do one thing wrong in a 45 Minute driving test which contains things like parallel parking, emergency breaking, explaining functions of you car and of course not overstepping the speedlimit, you could potentially fail it. If you do, you have to pay about 100€ and have a break of two weeks and then you can try again.

Driving on a road with traffic at that speed is different than driving at that speed on a racetrack. , and if you wanna go fast, doing it at night or in the north with more even Terrain works usually better. You seen supercar blondi she was freaked out at 230- maybe 250 and she drives car's like this quite often. If you are used to 130 kmh or 75 miles per hour it's usually better to adjust to that speed over time, and going 190 kmh or 105 miles when speeding for the first time is better then going 250 and freaking out when doing so. Slowing down takes a lot longer at that speed.

There are 2 rules that make a unlimited speed autobahn possible. 1. You can ONLY overtake on the left side. 2. The law says that you need to drive if possible on the furthest right lane. Exception if the gap to the car on the right lane is pretty close you just wait for a bigger gap to drive on the right lane. If you drive like 200kph you rarely drive on the furthest right lane because you will be constantly overtaking everyone until a bolt will flyby at 300kph on the left lane next to you.

I drove from Donegal Ireland to central Germany in my BMW E53, which cruised at 200 kph, and never encountered a toll, so nice, the autobahn are incredible and have the cleanest un-staffed roadside toilets in the world. Beautiful country, courteous and friendly people, and despite what people think, the Germans do have a sense of humour. You just have to be really clever to understand it :)

On Emirates highway (between Dubai and RAK) I drove 286km/hr between 2 radar cameras, can't forget that feeling hitting 286 and you realize the next speeding camera and need to slow down to 140. It was an amazing experience and the road is much better than the autobahn.

the autobahn has no speed limit but in reality the traffic acts like a speed limit, if you really want to drive fast you should drive at night but it is dark and harder, i myself drove twice in autobahn and topped 212 with a golf. very soon I realised the fuel consumption difference and kept the rest of the journey at a more economic speed.

I drove at night on A5 and A9 quite a lot in the past few years at top speed (means around 210 km/h for my car) and there were so many others passing me with rocket speed making me feel like I was walking. One thing I remember in particular was a summer trip back in 2013, traveling by bus at around 100 km/h there was a white Lambo literally flying by. It was like the bus wasn't even driving compared to that guy. Surprised there wasn't any sonic boom^^ If you want to go really fast I'd suggest A9 (Route: Munich - Ingolstadt - Nuremberg). Has 6 lines almost throughout the whole portion of it and quite long and straight passages without any limits. Sometimes I see people there who are obivously trying to compete with the ICE-Highspeed-Railway which is build next to A9. Train speed is around 300 km/h there.
