Really lovely to discover your channel ,I myself grew up in Childwall ( Bowring Park) right next to this old railway line and shamefully never walked down it after a flasher jumped out on us as kids in the 1970's.lol. It's so wonderful to see so many families walking and on bikes and the bird song too crowing out the incessant noise of traffic .That whole area is steeped in ancient history and in ritual too ..hence Bloody Acre the field right next to All.Saints church in Score Lane..a church so old it's in the Doomsday Book.I remember ( I' m 54 ) being a young hippie/ pothead 😂in the 80' s regular walking round Childwall Woods & The Black Woods in Woolton and finding evidence that someone had been ' practising' some sort of rituals ...a circle of burnt candles in the middle of woodland is a bit of a giveaway.lol..Have you ever read anything about a bizarre sect called ' The Lillywhite Boys'

Thanks JR. Chris here. I grew up literally across the road from here and didn't realise the richness of the history. It's certainly got a 'feeling' around there. It was great to read so many comments from others experiencing similar things. It was mine and Adams first ever investigation so it made it all the more 'raw'. haha

My ex partner, grew up on Lee Park estate. He hung around the ‘Nook’ and ‘ralla’ when young. One night his friend met them, running from the Nook, white as a sheet, they followed him all the way home. He was that scared, he couldn’t tell them what he saw. They also saw faces in the ponds on the golf course. Reflecting them standing behind them, but on turning, nobody was there.

Further back on that rail and time line ( ..ahah!) on Childwall Valley Road Bridge. The houses opp. Barnham side. There is a house where a knife murder of a babysitter took place in the late 60s and haunts the left side cuttings next to the bridge supposedly...

Used to go to the Gateacre Hall Hotel using the nook tunnel lots of regulars came into the pub in the seventies white as a sheet having seen a ghost. We used to have campfires in the wood just beside the tunnel. Its there several of us witnessed a strange white ghostly figure gliding through the trees as mentioned in my book The Sat Nav Guide To Your soul

Lots of memories of the ralla and the nook . Used to live on Dee Court so practically next to the ralla . Early memories of sitting outside gatacre hall with a glass of lemonade (early 80s with me ma and step da) still live near the ralla now further along mackets . Great vid this mate really interesting . I think one of the houses in the nook was something to do with a vicarage .

@@GhostQuestTV Hello and you're welcome. I guess so. But the thing is. I require evidence and in today's modern digital world. It's easy to fake it. See modern horror films. For example. The new update of poltergeist and then there are mental health problems. I'm not saying you are faking it or that you're, not a normal human being. But you can understand my scepticism. Then you have the fact that you were out looking for a ghost and on a dark secluded towpath and by a wooded area. Your imagination and fear are already ramped up and you think normal everyday sounds that happen, in the pitch black of night creepy and spooky. Which wouldn't bother you in the daytime. When it's light. Then someone else says you hear/see that and then you start hearing and seeing things. Someone else can make you think something is happening. When it isn't. As in hysteria. You see my point. But have fun with it.

@@GhostQuestTV One other thing. Time displacement is also a thing. With time being a dimension. It's possible for people of the past to sometimes partially come from their past to our present. Either partially visible or just auditory sounds. Physics is a weird thing.

Hi Chris , about 25 year ago me and 2 friends were heading down the loop line (ralla) towards the lydiate lane bridge we were about 300 meters from the bridge or was 9pm and dark when we all froze when we saw about 50 meters in front of us what looked like a priest or bishop in a big white gown wearing some sort of white high hat and holding a staff or something . It just went across from one side of the ralla and into the bushes and we could sort of see through it , I’ll never forget that image 😄

Sorry that went itself..Yeah that area has associations with this sect/ cult & I distinctly remember a ' skipping song' ( sure all Liverpool ladies remember singing them as young girls) and the song was about them all dressed in green .I know in Court Hey Park which was right next to my mum's old house a bonfire was seen surrounded by dancing naked people on the first field as you walk into Court Hey Park ..I also remember heading about the police in the 1970' s chasing some guys wearing green robes actually along this loopline ! .I think Tom Slemen mentions the Lilywhite Boys in one of his books ? I lived in a house in Sefton Park where I had major poltergheist activity ,I lasted 4 yrs in that flat...3 1/2yrs longer than everyone else..still think about that experience a lot nearly 18 yrs later

@@GhostQuestTV Indeed I have heard growls on several occasions in Scotland and Wales. When you hear it you know it couldn't of been made by anything human or animal. They are VERY unsettling to experience. I just always look for alternative logical explanations in order to hopefully know if Ime having a real paranormal experience or a natural event.
