My first ever Gibs was a gorgeous bourbon burst studio model. It's my fave guitar ever. I want to see a SIGNATURE CHECKERED EXPLORER FOR CHEAP TRICK'S RICK NIELSEN PLEASE!!!! I ALSO WANT TO SEE A WINE RED DOUBLE CUT 56 STYLE GIBS LIKE THE ONE ROBIN ZANDER HAD REPAIRED IN NASHVILLE AND TAKES ON TOUR. Please!!!! Before these rock legends die and its too late!!! Cheap Trick has sold over 20m records, 'Budokan" has entered the Library of Congress as an historic artifact of importance and is 3x platinum, they are inductees into RNR Hall of Fame, made over 20 albums, and just put out a new record which is bringing guitar rock back, Baybee!!! They are America's hardest working band and best live band too!!! Give out some lovin rock vibes, Gibson, c'mon!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

2007 firebird V in white! And I miss is it so much. Mine was perfect. No dings on the horns anywhere, no chips at all. I needed money at the time. I can’t wait to find another one

I got my first gibson guitar recently! It's 2019 flying v b2. It's black guitar and I love it! I decided to buy it since Dave Mustaine and Kirk Hammet, who are my guitar heroes joined gibson family \m/ Hell yeah!

My first and only gibson is my '97 Les Paul standard. I've played customs, norlins, current and not a single Les Paul sounded as good as my '97. Weighs 9.5lb and has this beautiful dark rosewood fingerboard. Also has the most comfortable '59 neck and love the original gibson pickups 498T/490R that came with it. The only mod I've done to it is I've installed strap Schaller buttons. It's in heritage cherry sunburst which is exactly how I imagine a Les Paul guitar should look like. I'm in love

I bought my first Gibson guitar in 1989 at Clark music in Atlanta… It was a 1987 black Les Paul studio with Ebony bored and headstock repair. $195 with the hardshell case… Those were the days!

My first Gibson, decades after I began playing, was a Les Paul Special Tribute P-90 in Worn White Satin that I bought just over a year ago. I can't believe it took me so long. Snarling P-90 tone from a cranked Marshall is the sound of ages. The Special might be my first, but it won't be my last; I saw an ES-339 Figured in Blueberry Burst the other day and just about lost it. It was the most beautifully figured maple I've ever seen. Damn.

My first Gibson is a '57 LG-1 acoustic, yes a 64 year old guitar. :D It's from the same year my dad was born, so that makes it even more special. I got it last year and a few months back, I got my first electric Gibson, which is a Les Paul Standard '50s - Gold Top with humbuckers, which is kinda modelled after the '57 Gold Top. So that number 57 is very special to me. Love them both!

My first Gibson was (and still is) a 2008 black ES-338.. Still all stock and in fantastic condition as (as it is always in its case when not used).

My first Gibson is a 2018 les Paul tribute in tobacco burst which I’ve seen it never left the music store which was my local Sam ash I took lessons at. Countless times I’d play it and have dreams about it being mine and now it is!! I’ve modified it with gold hardware and the killer emg Het set in gold as well. I plan to get another les Paul which is a les Paul classic in cherry sunburst! It will be mine!

My first Gibson was a 2016 Gibson SG '61 Reissue in Proprietary Ebony. I traded a Fender Hybrid '60s Jaguar (Made in Japan) and a bit of cash to get it. I found out that the stock '57 Reissue pickups were torn off from it and was replaced with cheap humbuckers so I replaced the bridge pickup with a Bare Knuckle Brute Force, which was great but had to trade it for something else. I now have an all-stock 2005 Gibson Les Paul Studio Faded in Worn Cherry and it feels so unbelievable to play! Also note that it's harder to get a Gibson in a third-world country such as mine so I had to work extra hard to get one.

My first was a 2001 Les Paul Special I got for my 16th birthday, along with a 2x12 Marshall Valvestate amp. The guitar is still my number one guitar 13 years later and I blame it for why I've never been able to bond with "real" Les Pauls with all the fixin's.

My first Gibson was a 2003 Black Explorer '76. I love the design and, although my collection has grown quite a bit since then, it has two of the best sounding and hottest pick ups I have ever played! I bought it in honor of my main man Mr. Hetfield of course!

I've been playing for quite a long time but everytime I wanted a gibson it was either I couldn't find one that I liked the look of or neck was to big or sound was off until they released the new line up in 2019 tried out a 60s standard in January of 2020 and then I was on the hunt for one with a good weight

If you can recall the fretboard material the 94 should have had an ebony board while a 96 would have utilized a rosewood. Also 94 used serial #’s that begin with 94.
