Ehehe! Nerves are normal! Congrats on your gig! My first gig was an “accident” - I was the lights guy at a posh club and the dj didn’t show up due to an accident.. I had a few tunes in my car and that’s how I ended up playing for about 2.000 people… 6hr night, must have played the same track 5 or 6 times😂 Shi**ing myself but was 🤩 awesome! Now on my 40’s, just play for fun at home.. have fun and do what you love!

Only in djing do you play a lot if not most of the time on different equipment than you use every day. The guys who did it back in the day especially were very impressive. Any time ive played out i made mistakes that i didnt make the last 20 times at home. Nerves spinning are very hard to get over.
