I rememember my one and only invitation to a family christmas dinner. In my first year as a student in UK. Cold unwelcoming nobody spoke to me . Even my friend who invited me stayed quiet scolded by her grand father. So did her parents and sibilings. It was an icy atmosphere. I wondered why they even put the plate of food infront of me. I ate it in silence. Missing this kind of Malaysian warmth that we give to strangers alone among us. I celebrated alone or with other fellow Malaysians of different faiths thereafter during my time in England. Thank you. For showing this side of Malaysia to us and to the world. Hope you will come again and back to Malaysia. Just remembering the warmth of the people.

Im soooo happy you get to experience Hari Raya Aidil Adha with these lovely people. This is Malaysian hospitality at its best.I could tell you miss your family when you almost teared up at the end.Being surrounded by families can do that to you. You have to be here for the other Raya,Aidil Fitri.More houses to visit more food to eat and by the end of the day you will be in a food coma I kid you not lol The 2 boys are smitten with you and the one in yellow will someday be a you tuber too mark my words 😊

Good evening. Eid Al Adha Mubarak everyone. We celebrate this eid to commemorate the pilgrims that performing hajj in Mecca. We celebrate Eid Mubarak in Syawal after fasting for a month in Ramadan. In Zulkaedah, the pilgrims started to go to haramain to perform hajj. We celebrate Eid Adha Mubarak on 10th until 13th of Zulhijjah where we perform qurban, slaughter whether bulls, cows, sheep or camels.

We dont go .to hari raya open house or visiting wearing t- shirt.though the host or malay people generally woudnt say anything.but its adab n it does reflect on the individual.Malays people respect .adab n adat..likewise if a person in invited to q dinnner or chrismas dinner/ wedding .ect. i wonder ..will .the person simply cane in t- shirt ? Meluat betul dgn org yg tk yau respect majlis org.seh.hormat dgn u tuber i- chang. Ect yg tau menghirmati n take the trouble to .learn about the local culture
