Lydia, after watching part of this video I wrote my husband at work and tell them we have to go to the Maldives when I get well. And then you went out on the boat with the Dolphins running about! That was beautiful, I absolutely loved that. And now you put that beautiful Tangerine silk linen skirt on and I loved it. I thought when you tried it on it home it was very pretty but in the evening lights it was lovely. I really enjoyed the color. I also enjoyed the top that came with the linen skirt it was unusual and fun. It decided to put that color in my wardrobe for the summer. Even if I am still stuck at home. I men in pajamas since last June I was in the hospital. There was no point in really getting dressed and if it was too difficult to address my wound and get dressed. Now it's nearly closed it'll take about a year just a few more months. But I am getting up everyday and working a bit around the house starting to sculpt and paint again. This is very exciting as I have been mostly just watching TV for a year. Really wish you a podcast in the future. I assume you'll you writing books. But I digress, I wanted to say that watching you with your wardrobe and beautiful ideas and design I am determined to get dressed everyday enjoy doing so again. Partly due to your encouragement and enthusiasm about fashion and Design. I should say thank you so much for you and your team as I am affected deeply by your work. I enjoy all the facets of your life and feeling encouraged every week. I have been looking forward to getting well enough to dress every day and to work in my garden, though it only be a few flowers right now. I put in a few herbs and tomatoes which for this year is enough. I believe we're hoping to buy our retirement home this year so that we can work on it while we are still working. So I will be taking some of your ideas from your house and yard with me on that project. You're an inspiration and your kindness and positivity warms my heart. I'm 62 now and I have thoroughly enjoyed you being a part of my life. We may never know each other personally but having this kind of encouragement in my life has been incredible especially this last year during all of the agony. Don't you ever underestimate what you do for others in this situation. Your hubby is sweet your staff is awesome and your sausages and Lumi are delicious. Lydia I live in the Isles of Scilly in the uk. We see dolphins, seals daily In crystal blue water I’m sure you and Ali would enjoy the peaceful surroundings here. What a great vlog Lydia. I went to the Maldives 25 years ago with my Dad and brother, just after my mum passed away. My experience was quite different from yours. The island we stayed on was called Kurumathi and there were no modern facilities like there are now. We had beach front log cabin. There were no spa facilities and no swimming pools etc... it was a complete Robinson Crusoe experience.. absolutely wonderful. I remember the food being very good and as we were there on Valentines day and were returning guests, we were invited to a VIP dinner on the beach... as we sat on the waters edge at our tables the water lapped around our feet. Apart from getting a bite from a sand fly it was magical lol. On Valentines night I came back to my cabin to find my house boy had sculpted my sheets into a gorgeous design and strewn rose petals all over the bed. It was so beautiful I slept on the sofa in the room as I didn't want to disturb his artwork lol. We had the sea plane from Male out to our island... I remember an extremely good looking blonde haired, bronzed Australian pilot and the Maldivian navigator. Can't wait to see you next vlog. Sending love from sleepy Devon xxxx

It looks STUNNINGGG there! Watched yours and Victoria's vlogs and was like OMG we gotta go there next time. We've been Maldives quite a few times and it is our favourite holiday hands down. We've gone to the same place every time and it's nice that they know us now but wanted to try somewhere new for the next time but just worked out how much it is for a week, THAT PRICE FOR A WEEK IS JUST WOW! 😂😂 you really weren't lying when you said it's considerably more but I'm happy you went into detail about what you get. Also, you dying for the food was hillar, the "thank you, he said I can start" killed me loool. Btw we prefer and always get a beach villa with a private section to sunbathe too, we feel the same about sea villas, kinda scares us lol

I swam with Dolphins by holding onto their fins (I was so gentle holding the fins afraid and did not want to hurt them) and they took me for a very fast ride. The power and strength they have is unbelievable. They are so sweet too. One gave me a kiss. Dolphins can tell the weight and size of something by sensors they have. It was by far the best experience I have ever had. It was beautiful to be in their world. I believe they are the closest to intelligence then anything compared to human intelligence. The Dolphins are showing off for you.

Dog bed: our old dog was also a bed chewer and the only success we had was one of those raised/elevated beds like they have at vets. They're not nearly as comfy as the plush ones. I think the only other option are the super "tough" kevlar type materials that maybe your dogs couldn't chew through.

It made me chuckle when you were discussing rocket. On our first trip to London I was going to order a burger but the description said "with rocket".
