My First impression's of UFC 5 Beta

So can people just spam elbows to get doctors stoppage. And why would they change the button lay out

They have changed the elbow animation so it's slightly slower so you can really only land the lead elbow into the rear elbow combo and I have found it's harder to hit a elbow in the centre of the octagon so your wanting to get your opponent up against the cage to have a better chance of landing them. Cuts are still a bit of a weird thing sometimes you can go the whole fight without getting cut and other time you can cut them in the first minute so I personally think it might need a bit of work but I just think it comes down to be more defensively sound. With the button layout I think to make it more playable for the novice player but I personally had issues with it but after a few hours I picked it up still make the odd error with uppercuts and going for a takedown but that more of muscle memory issue when I've gotten a little panicked but I think overall it's a plus as spinning attacks require additional button inputs to stop the spin to win cheese. Hahah me too😭 just think the price tag is a bit steep some people will straight up not buy for that reason alone but like myself if I didn't play the beta I probably be more hesitant to buy it they need to allow people to play/see it before they throw down money because what EA's showing with there advertisment is actually putting people off instead of building up hype but that's just my opinion

@@jarlkivlin I pre-ordered the deluxe edition before gameplay was available because I thought it would be much different! Though gameplay seems the same I figured it's a win to play with the new skins like Ali/Tyson and whoever.

See you the same as me either way I was going to buy it as UFC is basically my COD/FIFA but when I seen the price I was hesitant and was not sure if the bonus fighter were worth an extra £30 but after getting hand on experience I am more comfortable paying for the deluxe edition

Thanx for the info man!!! In your opinion do you feel there will be some cheese going on with this new submission system,like can you see some people exploiting the hell out of it a lot or is it pretty hard to do that?Also has the clinch really changed at all?Same with the ground game,outside of the new submission system and being able throw Elbows,is that really any different from that stuff added?

I don't think it will cheesy with the submission as you do get a forced denial if you mess up with the first submission but it was easy for the opponent to chain subs together to get the finish as there is no practice mode so I can't work out which way to deni for certain subs but do think it's a bit more fun than the sub games in UFC 4 as the exits a pretty smooth and with the clinch it's almost exactly the same apart from I find when you have your opponent up against the cage your not able to hit them with rapid punches like in 4 as it forces you to brake if that makes sense so I can respect that change to stop the cage clinch spam and with the ground game it's basically the same but the timing on denials seem a bit easier especially the posture up as I have denied more posture up in 5 than the whole time I did in 4 but I was really bad at them so i am a bit worried about that even tho it helps me more but high level ground players might be unstoppable with it only time will tell on that one I hope this has answered your questions dude if you need me explain a little bit more I am more than happy to do so

Strange question which I do not have a answer for but in jiri's case it could be because he's been injured he might not have been in the best shape when they did body scans for the game only a theory

Great question dude I have only seen herb as the ref but that is probably just cause it the beta also you can't choose arenas on the beta so I could not say but they have updated the walkout of fighter so I can't see why they would have done the same for apex

That's the only ground elbow allowed in UFC 4

Yeah dude that's mad you didn't know you could do this you have to be in side saddle and then hold R2 and press square only real elbow you can do in UFC 4

Well amigo I feel that the game has been received bad by the content EA has official release if someone who is on the fence about buying it like some of my friends I would like to think as some who played this game since UFC 2 hopefully my opinion would give them more information before they pay £70/£100 on something, buts it's all love here dude but I appreciate your hate aswell
