Both of my parents are from Albania (korce and Tirana) but I was born in the US and the last time any of my family and I went back was when I was 4 years old. As you can imagine, seeing these vlogs is really eye opening now that I am an adult to know what the country my family is from looks and feels like from your pov. Thank you for sharing this. This will help me with when I want to visit one day.

Will you be visiting Saranda? I was going to go there back in March, along with Corfu and some other destinations but it didn't happen. I love that you showed some of the little glitches that happen when first arriving in a new country. I had also heard that it's cash only in most places there!

Heey! Nice video :) Quick question: how did you find the internet speed in Albania? Thanks!
@alb-3332 жыл бұрын
I don't know what you have heard about Albania! Albania is a European country, the infrastructure and everything is better than in some countries that are in the European Union, when this week Albania starts negotiations to join the EU... as for the Internet in Albania, there is free wireless in every business activity (bars , restaurants, libraries...) in public areas, municipalities offer free internet for citizens...Albania is in the heart of Europe, it is not a jungle where people welcome you with spears in their hands, and they eat the phone for lunch after they have eat you before the phone...
@carlabottazzi2 жыл бұрын
I never said that about Albania 😂 I just asked how the internet speed is because I know that it's not that good in some European countries.

That’s not how you spell Shkodër and most certainly not how you type it. In Albanian is Indefinite/Definite: Shkodër/Shkodra. Skoder or Skadar is mostly used by slavic people (our neighbours) and we don’t really like that in general. Anyways welcome to Albania! Have a great time!
