I show my first impressions of Algeria الجزائر (& Africa) as a British tourist, the largest country on the continent. I explore some of the outskirts of Algiers, the capital city, before heading to the historic ruins of Tipasa and The Royal Mausoleum of Mauretania.

My husband is Algerian and I have visited several times. I have heard that if you are a tourist getting a visa is not easy. Algeria is beautiful. Go outside to find real beauty. I went to Setif, Constantine, Bejaai. Beautiful country but due to lack of tourism some places are not looked after.

I'm a bit late to comment but thank you so much for your videos in Algeria. I rarely comment on videos but I needed to tell you. I'm a french Algerian and I haven't been to Algeria since 2019, and I miss it TERRIBLY. You've captured the algerian "vibe" and atmosphere so well it was almost as if I was there. Not a lot of videos do that to me lol! Thanks a lot.

Few years ago Algeria was a very dangerous country to visit, but now it's totally safe, tourism is increasing by the day, although we still lack in some criterias like environment pollution and public utilities and services... other than that it's totally worth a visit, there's a lot of places top visit and enjoy a load of mixed cultures in a single country :) Greetings from Algeria ♥

try and head to Constantine - a beautiful historic city absolutely riddled with canyons, gorges, tunnels, cable cars, bridges, natural arches and zip lines. One of the planet's best kept secrets, and wonders of the world were it not for the poitical situation and civil war during the 90s.

Since I found your channel during the past months, I've been watching your earlier videos because each is so well done. Your rapport with people is charming and I love the way you include the day to day life, not just tourist sites. This video in particular is so interesting, from the pool table on the street, the school cafeteria, lunch with the family, then the amazing ancient Roman sites. Just unbelievable.
