Its one thing some of you not watching the video and understanding that regardless of which religion or cultural background 'Karwa Chauth' comes from, Mundheep has come into my family and adapting to what traditions we uphold. Thats not easy, but a shame some are ready to fire shots but not understand the difficulty. For those who actually took time to watch to the end you would have heard that 'MY' family stems from both Sikh and Hindu relations. For that reason we share and combine and most importantly 'CELEBRATE' all the coming togethers. If its not your cup of tea or youre one of those 'trying to be God' and sending bad energy for what others do, take a step back. It's gonna take Aliens to try conquering us to understand that under the heavens and stars, we're but ONE family. Enjoy the video for what it is, not for what its not.... Love and colour ;) PS. Weldone Mundheep, I know it wasn't easy, you smashed it, love you x

@@AmanSingh-se6dx Its their choice, and if they want to do that, so let them! It doesnt hurt anybody. And doesnt sikhi learn to respect others? I think it is cool! I live your sindhoor also Mundeep! ..further..its a cultural thing..not a religion.. I am hindu my self, and i dont do this..cuz..my parents didnt do it..my inlaws dont do it..but i have friends that do it.. So..its cultural..nothing wrong with it!

Sikhi is a way of life, not just a religion. And if they care about each other why does the couple decide to care about each on religious/auspicious day for the hindus. Why not go on a picnic together or help one another in a tragedy godforbid. Ink i know you’re reading these comments, do u admit you’re wrong in this? And if u don’t even with evidence the guys has shown u in the comments, does that mean your also a blind believer?

Herleen Heer Im not sure if you’re on the same page as as i am. Let me tell you again. Please read carefully. If you claim yourself to be a sikh and believe in the guru granth sahib ji, you are forbidden to follow any hindu rituals such as rakhi, karva chauth, tikka etc... these have been written in our guru. Just because they have relatives that are hindus or a great grandmother who herself is hindu does not justify it, when you call yourself a sikh you do not do these acts, we are free from these acts. If you choose to do these acts, take away the gurus gifts and believe in these rituals with all your hearts content. No ones gonna stop you lol. But when you do these acts and call yourself a singh, its cheap and you do not give a single fuck about what your identity stands for and what it was made for. Simple.

This was a dumb comment. MOST people celebrate Christmas as a way to celebrate the holidays. Not the actual birth of Jesus Christ. Most white people dont even celebrate for that reason. It's not religious to spend family time and give each other gifts. A Christmas tree had nothing to do with Jesus. That's called commercialism Starving yourself so your husband can live long... Well that's just plain stupid. And yes. People who partake are extremely low iq. You should feel embarrassed

Wow. Every single person trying to act as “Sikhi Police” should be ashamed of themselves. So much hate for a person THAT CLEARLY STATED THEY HAVE HINDU FAMILY. And even if she didn’t have Hindu members in her family; what she eats in a day or doesn’t is her business, not yours. I am Sikh and have been fasting on karwa Chauth for 10 years. Why you ask? Because karwa chauth is more of a cultural thing than a religious one (part of North Indian culture, no one in the south even knows what it is). Culture and religion, two separate things. Get with it. Also, such needless hate. Is this what your Sikhi teaches you? Why don’t I see comments like these under videos of Singhs eating meat or drinking alcohol? Diljit Dosanjh having his patiala peg is totally ok as per Sikhi, right? Or why even stop at that? You all are upset about how unsikh this practice is. Yet all of you are probably shopping around for a Christmas tree right now and getting ready for gift exchanges. Why the double standard? Hypocrites. All of you.

It's lovely that you both fasted for each other. I am writing an English exam today and needed to calm my nerves and was really happy to see you have a new video out! Ps I noticed some people leaving negative comments, it's almost as if they don't watch the entire video. I am Christian and initially thought your fast was Sikh but the bit at the end explained that it is part of Hinduism and you guys are respecting both sides. Being a young couple who also participates in religious and cultural traditions is very admirable. You are role models to others.

Awww...so sweet that you both fasted for each other. It was my hubbies wish to also do the Karva Chauth fast for me when we were just married but he was diagnosed with Diabetes shortly after our wedding so he’s been unable to keep the fast. The puja you did with the thali of goodies is just how used to do it growing up in Vancouver with my mom, my masis and their friends. When I married and moved away to Calgary my first fast was similar but since then I’ve been keeping the fast but everything else is much more simplified as I don’t have as much family here that participated in the festivities. It’s a tough day but it’s worth the hunger pains at the end if the day when you take your first bite. And of course, anything to help with a long, healthy life of your spouse is sweet!

Firstly Mundheep do not react to the individuals on this vlog stating that karwa Chauth is not in the Sikh religion and it’s wrong etc etc! I think it’s very cute that u follow Hindu and Sikh rituals as you CLEARLY STATED that Aman’s family are half Hindu!!! People are not clearly listening! Also I would like to ask all u people that have commented saying that it’s not in the Sikh religion - HOW MANY OF U CELEBRATE CHRISTMAS 🎄 WITH A TREE AND ALL THE XMAS DINNER??? I’d love to know that as ALL of my Sikh and Hindu friends celebrate Christmas!! Mundheep and Aman stay blessed and love ur vlogs u guys rock! ✌🏼👍🏼😘❤️ ps u looked absolutely stunning Mundheep ❤️😊

queen kaur Aha queen kaur There are still people that look into sikhi, more than u know. To celebrate karwa chauth u must be hindu. Not sikh because it opposes these fake rituals. All fake desires and what nott. Wanna do it? Dont call ur self a sikh. Dont care about and still call yourself a kaur, go and convert. People have tooken too many advantages of sikhi. I think its time people start taking a stand for our guru teachings.
@jasjosan9016

Well I personally think that it’s own choice if you want to celebrate it or not... I mean I celebrate Christmas even tho I’m Sikh and that’s because I believe in more than one religion! It might be that she believes in more than one religion or she’s just following Aman’s families rituals... like you get what I mean?
@AmanSingh-se6dx
@AmanSingh-se6dx 6 жыл бұрын
queen kaur Aman is a sikh lets agree to that. Yes?! So is mundheep. Yes. Awesomely we’re still on the same page. Amans families rituals has got nothing to do with his beliefs. As a sikh. He has to oppose it because being a follower of sikhi means to be free from these rituals. Now if his family does because they are hindus. So be it. Let their family do it. But you who you call yourself a sikh. A follower of guru granth sahib ji. It means to oppose it because once again I’ll say it again. You are free from doing those rituals. Does that make sense? You say you celebrate Christmas means you follow jesus or do u mean the holiday?

I’ve just seen a couple of your videos but you seem like a genuine nice person. Love the realness. I get the pushback on Karva Chauth. I also didn’t grow up with it and honestly my in-laws don’t do it either. But I started doing it (probably bc of my 90s Bollywood influence- thought it was romantic) and my parents and in-laws support me. I think it’s sweet you both did it. That’s not how we do it but I like that my hubby appreciates my sacrifice / show of love and spends the day taking care of me / organizing dinner etc. it’s always nice to have more blessings for our marriage. Don’t worry about others; keep doing you.

Happy Karwa Chauth! Glad your husband fasted with you - tbh if my husband didn't fast for my long life I would not have fasted for him either! We don't really fast anymore since our kids were born, but I do remember those years we did do it calling around and asking if anyone saw the moon, some years driving around looking for it.... It's the traditions some have, doesn't mean everyone has to do it, or that you have to do it every year. Those stressing that you're not a true Sikh if you do this must think they are god themselves to be judging you like that. But hey, this was something cool you did and honestly, haters going to hate. As long as it was your choice, good on you two!

Woah we really do live in a crazy world.. those that are hating first spend time watching the video then spend more time spreading their negativity.. If you don't agree or like what you see move on to something else. Stop CYBER BULLYING people.. the foundations of being a good sikh is not judging others, not spreading hate, and not thinking you are better than anyone else. Mundeep thank you for sharing these moments with us, you're blessed to be married into a family where love and respect is so strong.. So sweet Aman fasted for Mandeep too!! My brother did the same for my sister inlaw during Karva Chaut. We saw the moon from India my cousin video chatted with us since the clouds and thunder and rain was blocking the moon. So, my mom and sister inlaw broke the fast by seeing the moon from India. We ended up seeing the moon at 12am. We ended the fast at 10pm almost 11.

Aman hats of to you for being such a supportive husband for showing your love to Mundheep in the most sweetest of ways ! ❤️ May god bless the beautiful bond you two share as husband and wife ❤️ and I wish you both long lives as well❤️... I see a lot of negative comments about religion and how it's wrong and so forth, no religion stops you from celebrating what you as an individual wish to celebrate 🌸 it was mentioned in the video that Amans family also consists of hindu's and the coming together of families and I think that's so amazing!❤️ Don't let people dictate to you beautiful souls because God is going to shower you with his richest blessings always ❤️ this video means a lot to me as I am a Tamil and will be going into a Hindu home when I'm married at least now I have a sight of what I should expect to celebrate 🌸 thank you Mundheep and Aman 🌸

Hi Mundheep and Aman. It was actually really nice seeing you take part in karwa chauth. I am sikh too and my in laws also do karwa chauth. Like you my husband fasting with me on the first one. But by the second time I had my little one so instead he had the more challenging part which was to look after him all day. Did aman give you a gift? its funny but my husband gave me adidas superstar shoes.LOL. The moon took sooooooo long i swear i must have opened the door like a hundred times trying to find it. my neighbours probably thought i was a weirdo. lol also ignore what others are saying about sikhs not doing it. they are being narrow minded. I think people forget that before sikhism most our families were hindus. If thats the case why do some people say they are celebrating diwali and not bands chop divas. my bibi use to take part as a little girl, being single she had to wait till the moon came out instead and she is sikh. if people research karwa chauth is a punjabi (north indian) tradition. i think its great you did it. And finally i found someone who can relate. let the haters hate. Happy Karwa Chauth. xxx

It's a great video and it's beautiful how you guys mix things from different cultures and religions. So many hateful comments. Gotta love judgemental Indians. Be united y'all. This annoys me about our race sometimes, quick to judge. Loved the part when I heard someone saying "this is scary, I don't know where the fox is". The food looked so yummy!

Sunethra Im not indian, I’m a sikh british. I thought about this for long before i thought about commenting and if u think this is wrong, thats only because you think its right. Because you’re a hindu and you feel happy that other people from other faiths are doing and spreading positivity. But if it bans sikhs from doing it, why do you not respect our preaching. We’re just trying to help our brethren, it will ofcourse then look mean to u. We all can be united but definitely not by practicing intetfaith rituals silly.

Religion has built so much hate & ignorancy... If we removed religion & just saw color was it wrong for her to do things for Aman's family?? No. You would just see a brown girl doing something for her husband & you would say "AWEE" n shit. But cuz u kno shes Punjabi u wanna preach like u kno shit abt culture If u wanna preach religion.. where were u when she got tattoos & when she was drinking?? No where. Its cuz u just saw her as normal young adult . Thats all i gotta say. We're so ignorant towards other cultures sometimes. Its time we all updates our values!! Its 2018 for crying out loud get over it

Iam sure Aman and his family are very proud of you . You are the perfect daughter in law and wife. You are modern but yet also respectful of culture & traditions 👍🏼👏🏼👍🏼👏🏼👍🏼👍🏼

God I remember my first karva chauth. the moon was no where to be seen until about 11, my husband was running up and down the streets looking for the moon and in the end I couldn’t be bothered and my mom told me to just eat. That was my first and last Karva Chauth, never in my life I am going through that again lol! P.S: I love your neckpiece ❤️

This is truly so beautiful ❤️ when you mentioned fasting the entire day and then not wanting to eat when its time to break fast, that's the exact same feeling us Muslims feel when we fast from sunrise to sunset. Lol. And during the day we'll go out and buy all the things we crave for but can never eat anything when it's time to haha. So totally understand how u felt. 😁

Guys you were using the supermarket whole milk. I wonder how supermarkets manage to keep milk so cheap. Unless it's not real milk. Try raw milk. There are a couple of farms that do raw milk. I used to use hook and sons they send you thick raw milk. Yummy. And they also make cows ghee. Unadulterated milk, since you both are health conscious. I prefer natural fat over preservatives and chemicals. But that's just me

These mean comments don't really make sense to me. I guess people are just blind to see the sentiments behind the ritual ,and it is not really harming anyone of us. If we just live and let live the world would be a great place. So calm down people. Love you Mundheep , this video was very sweet ❤

Roopsa Ghosh So far it hasnt made any sense for the hindus. Its made sense for some of the sikhs though. Define mean because I think our religon and our preaching is the opposite of that.
