Nick sseam refers to Nick sensei. Ssem is colloquial abrreviation of Korean word Seonseang nim. It used to refer to teacher but theses days anyone can be called Seanseang nim like Mr and Mrs.

Nick! There are many small temples in Korea. If you go there, you can do a temple stay. If you're on your way, stop by the temple and take a rest. And if you go to Yangyang, there is a famous temple called Naksansa Temple. The scenery here is so nice, so if you're on your way through, you should go. Take your time and take your time and travel!!
thanks so much! yeah I thought it was 35 years, but for some reason that sign said 36... none the less, it was still a horrible and sad chapter in Korean history. Thanks for your support!
15:58 He was joking. Q: Do you work out these days? A: Breathing exercise It's a Korean joke when you don't exercise at all. Breathing is always something you do.

The dude replied in Korean but the Google translate translated it literally, "exercise for living" which would be misconstrued as "I exercise for a living" as in, exercise is my job. When in fact, the literal translation was "Breathing. The exercise that is required to survive. Air breathing which is required to survive." A better translation would've been "exercise which is required for living" vs. " exercise for living"

Nick's video is very helpful to me who studies English with accurate English pronunciation and sentence use. As a Korean, I pay tribute to traveling to our country and uploading videos.

Truly appreciate the amount of time and effort Nick puts into making these videos. The research into the history, the editing and the consistency of his uploads. Thank you BinsuNick ๐
13:00 Hey, just wanted to let you know that the structure behind you is a military installation known as an 'anti-tank barrier.' These are designed to block or slow down the advance of enemy tanks and vehicles during wartime. In the event of an emergency, the barriers can be collapsed to obstruct the road and hinder enemy movement. You'll often find these in areas near the DMZ or along strategic routes. Hope that adds some context to your journey!
Nick, I enjoyed this video, too. It won't be easy to edit while traveling on a bicycle on a hot day, but thank you so much for watching a great video. Be careful of your car and take care of yourself.
