My first game was in the egg cup on caustic finale. I expertly drew in my opponents tank out of position and manouvered my artillery into a very strong position very early on... this is how i found out that the river is actually a shoal, and my opponent just moved over it and smashed into my artillery for free 👌

it took me more than 30 games to learn that the move planner can show you where sturm, von bolt, and rachel supers will land without manual calculation so we've all been there

AWBW has some minor differences from the actual games that always catch me off guard. Stuff like 1 tile wide shoals and transports able to unload/boost multiple times in a turn are the two I remember.

Infantry that appeared is a replay viewer bug (30:39). Infantry got trapped on yours, then the tank showed up. It set itself right at turn end. You'll see similar bugs on pipe seam attacks not registering too.

21:52 ~ 23:25 The Artillery being built without moving the tank & the 1b tank position being updated to next to the pipeseam next turn -> you were attacking the pipeseam which is 5 move instead of 6 move and more importantly lets the opponent know you built a tank on the 1b previous turn.

My question as someone who doesn't fully understand the mechanics of AWBW itself, what caused the draw here? Was it just that both agreed to stop?

yeah, we both agreed to stop; this was my first game so i didn't really know what the protocol was, and lightens offered the draw because i was a very new player
