My First Muay Thai Fight PKB / PMT / IKF In Sacramento December 3rd 2022

Im the black dude. My exp is that I boxed a little in 2019 for about 6 months, started Muay Thai june 2022. Got my 1st W in these skreets.

I've been watching a lot of PMT videos of dudes just going hog wild and throwing kicks and punches with reckless abandon. This fight shows that good technique goes a long way, especially if you only had six months of MT training. Nice work!

150. I think i started at 158 and cut to 146 for this fight. 1st time cutting so went a lil overboard

Thank you! I boxed for about 6 months in 2019. I started muay thai in june 2022 and then i signed up for the fight in OCT22 and really stepped up my training 2 months out

@@larcellj21 Awesome, the training definitely came through! I got my first one this Saturday, and I've been at it for a month. You got any tips on how to approach your first time? I'm a little nervous about meeting an aggressive opponent.

@@joshuakuruvilla2003 aye ill be there if youre fighting in sacramento! but yes 1st off. you will be tired! I have really good cardio i was running a mile under 6 mins casually and I was drained. expect your opponent to hit hard. The ref will tone it down, not your opponent. Kick! consistent kicks score more points and the judges respect and value it more as it shows you are not just boxing. you can out box you opponent and lose for not kicking bcs you are not fighting muay thai. understand the rules and how they score as for an aggressive opponent... answer back. If youre overwhelmed makes sure you fire back and score too. End of the day you make take a few hits, but youre in a safe environment and you wont die. Fight with confidence! Good luck bro!
