Syngonium and Begonia were those weed plants grandma always got you to cut back whenever you visited. Can't quite figure out how they ever became rare or collectors items.

@@ThatGirlShelbyy I live in Western Australia in one of the hottest and driest towns in the world in summer and sub freezing and frost in winter. Like any living thing plants acclimatise and adapt, some are for a long life, others only for a season or two.

Come to Kerala, India, you can see fields of 1st syngonium and get tons of plants... It's a weed here, especially near the high-range area.
