i love how much you talk to us during the vlogs and try to explain and make us feel like we were right there with you rather than just show us what youre doing (which is so cool as well btw!)

Yes please to the podcast episode about remaining independent while in a relationship! But I fully agree with what you said spending a little time apart and reconnecting with who you are when you’re alone is super important in a relationship because it allows you to share those experiences and that little bit of space let’s you miss your partner. Love all your content 🫶🏻

Maintaining independence in a relationship is ESSENTIAL for me. I'm 10 years in my relationship and I am someone that will not shy away from prioritizing adventure even if my partner doesn't want to go. It's made me into who I am, and it's empowering as a woman to go on solo hikes, trips, etc.

It feels so empowering for me to travel solo! I used to bring Matt on my work trips whenever I could, and now I have the confidence to go alone, which makes me feel strong. I’ve never solo traveled for pleasure, but that sounds soo nice

FINALLY getting around to watching this in its entirety, My husband is currently deployed and has been for the last 11 months. Time apart is SUPER important and missing each other only to come back I think makes the relationship stronger. (I’m 29, he’s 33) Maintaining my independence throughout this relationship (5years) has been vital to my survival/mental health while being without him for such a long time. ❤

I totally agree and think that it’s nice to have that time apart sometimes and have experiences for yourself that deepen your own interests & hobbies that’s so important to maintaining a sense of self & allowing yourself the space with your partner to miss them and appreciate the life you share with them is always sweet

Loveeee a long vlog especially when it’s one of yours 🫶🏽 Also, i would thoroughly enjoy a ‘24 outfits video as well as a morning or night routine! And I really enjoyed your favourites/empties video(s) as well as your bookcase vid, so something like that or a monthly reading review would be lovely as well

I have OCD, and it makes my social anxiety SO bad. It’s usually the worst before big events, especially for work, and when meeting new people. I have to put myself “on” and need a lot of time afterward to decompress. It’s always worth it to push past it but man is it draining! Thanks for sharing your experience, because I always feel kinda alone (and weird and guilty) for feeling this way. Love your vlogs always!

Yes , so important to have individuality and independence from your partner. Me and my partner been together for 7 years since college and pretty much lived together the whole time. I’ve never experienced living solo until last year - I moved to my own place and it’s been so healthy for the both of us. I have an anxious attachment style and was codependent on him , but having my own space and independence has helped with security in myself- which in turn helps with security in our relationship. It’s also makes the time we do spend together intentional❤

I would love a podcast ep on healthy relationships!! I’m 1 year out of the worst breakup ever and I’m really afraid of getting swept up in a new person when I start dating again 😩 so hearing you talk about that made me feel so seen and hopeful!!

I LOVE my partner and I LOVE when he is gone or I am gone haha. Sleeping in the middle of the bed, eating what I want when I want, doing my own thing, etc. LOVE it. When I am out of town, he will often go to a nice steakhouse for dinner alone (I'm vegetarian) and when he is out of town and I am home, I will do a big sewing project since it's hard to do while sharing a space. It's great.

I’ve been with my husband since we were 17 - we are 29 now (almost 30 😅). We’ve been through many seasons, some which we were very codependent, some where we were more distant. I think it’s SO important to miss each other, especially considering we do work together too. We enjoy doing things together and enjoy each others friends (we met through friends) so we don’t spend much time apart but we do try to do things individually occasionally.

oof, girl, independence in a relationship is SO important! I hear you about past relationships where you lost that. My last relationship was 7 years, and I completely lost that and ergo, I lost myself. Since breaking up with him, I've been rediscovering myself. While part of me is sad that it didn't work, because I thought I'd be married by now, the vast majority of me is so relieved. I wouldn't say I have myself back entirely, but I'm working on it, and I don't think I'd even try to date again until I feel solid in who I am and solid in the fact that I'll be able to maintain independence in a relationship.

I was watching your Q+A video recently and I one of my favorite og youtubers Elanna McGowan also lives in Northern Ireland! She recently started her own makeup company, she also moved to Ireland out of country with that being her husbands home and I believe her husband also plays a sport professionally so you have lots of things in common! She might be able to answer your questions about the green card process and how influencing works! Sorry this was a random comment hahah I have been binging all your videos I LOVE THEM + YOU! 🤍🤍

Girrrrrlllllllll why is your husband policing your eating habits? You do not have to justify being hungry to anyone. That's high-key toxic af of him to judge your eating habits, and to tell you not to get more food because you just had dinner. Especially since he knows your past history with an ED. EAT IF YOU WANT TO. DON'T LISTEN TO HIM. I'm so sorry you even felt the need to justify being hungry and wanting more food to someone as close to you as your husband.
