Pole position, and then made 9 passes to finish in top 5. All in your debut race. You should NOT be apologizing to us. This is the reality of racing: errors happen, and this may end up being a mechanical issue, even. As a fan, I am completely proud of your work here. You don't owe us perfect results, we just want to be a part of your journey

Dude seriously, you're like the real life version of watching a sim race where you start in the back and destroy the field with people spinning and going off track and everything. You're a beast in every car you drive, you were faster than the whole field. That by itself says who you are, not the mistake that happened at the beginning.

You are just insane and also insanely passionate. Somehow, being one of your financial supporters makes me feel closer than ever to your racing career. Also the filming which takes up a big chunk of your budget is crazy. At least 90% would have said fugg it, i'll race without the cameras, but you go the extra mile, spend the money, invest your time, put yourself under a huge load because you still have to stand in front of the camera while racing the whole day. Anyone would just race in their series and in between the track time they would carefully debrief their sessions or just relax but you still go the extra mile while being one of, if not THE best driver on the grid without experience in this series (and not just that, you are coming from nascar and eurolegend now racing in formula 4 which is almost like 2 different kinds of racing). And now, with your really bad practice sessions, you go Pole, you failed the start you managed to get back to p5, starting in P2 for Race 2. My man, be happy, be proud of yourself you did such an insane job this year already. Appreciate what you got, you went 10 extra miles compared to others and in the end, did really really well. You got that!

Idk about F4 but in F1, there a rule you can only make 1 defensive move with defending so the guy in the video take the left line so he can brake later. If you make 2 moves you'll get a penalty in F1.

Standing starts in single seaters are very difficult to get right and they take practice. You are very lucky that you were not collected at the start and I am sure you'll get the hang of launching these machines. Also the editing on this video was excellent. The inclusion of the discussion with Luca added a fantastic dimension to the production. Really good work by your team.

@ksln8 ай бұрын
Hey there, Albi. Figured I'd drop a few friendly words, but it suddenly turned into quite the rant. Hope it finds you well, if at all. :) TL;DR: I really do appreciate all the effort you put into capturing your driving, but I personally would have been perfectly happy with the backup camera - assuming it's built into the car and/or didn't need all the extra care and attention to pass regulations. :) Following your expressed concerns, I started thinking about what makes me come back to this channel so frequently, and here's my conclusions in reverse order of importance: 3. Your editing style manages to build suspense without exhadurating or relying on excessive use of cheap tricks. Also the way you utilize ambient music is top notch and the tracks aren't cheesy, making the production feel very professional. 2. You don't make any efforts to hide your mistakes, but rather display them in all their glory. 1. To ride along onboard with commentary focusing on what's going on in your head, and what you are trying to achieve while driving (positioning and lines when attacking, etc). To contextualize and hopefully take some of the content creator related pressure off your back: Considering my initial TL;DR, the significant effort put into passing regs while being able to capture, the endless hours spent on editing and so on -- if it means you get to rest more in between your sessions, including your time off-track; I'd be perfectly happy with a bare bones upload of the backup camera with commentary. Or heck, even without commentary as the driving in of itself tends to be exciting enough. xD I'm not here for perfect picture clarity, color grading, bells nor whistles - all that is just a bonus which is appreciated, but not expected from a one-man army with a few support players. :D Keep up the good work, man. It's inspiring and great entertainment.

If he is so much faster on the straights but slower on the corners and braking, it's possible he is going with a very low drag setup. Less downforce, so he can't take the turns with as much grip as you, but he doesn't have as much air resistance when he is accelerating.
