Very underrated album. I've been listening to Björk for almost 15 years, I love all of the music she has made as a solo artist and this album is no exception. How I would rate this: Earth Intruders: 10/10 Wanderlust: 9.25/10 The dull flame of desire: 9.25/10 Innocence: 8.75/10 I see who you are: 9.5/10 Vertebrae by vertebrae: 10/10 Pneumonia: 9.5/10 Hope: 9.5/10 Declare independence: 9/10 My juvenile: 9.5/10 That being said, this is not even her best. To me, her best albums are Utopia, Fossora and Vulnicura.

“Innocence” hits so hard, I love it. A lot of people consider this to be Björk’s political album, but it’s also quite spiritual at times like her other works. It’s definitely chaotic, but I like that about it and it’s cool to see someone else enjoying this imperfect beast as well.

Man , i really love Volta , its one of my fav Björk's albums with homogenic , fossora and vulnicura . Also the cover of the album is simply wow . I don't know why the people hate so much that album .

Brave of you to sit through this whole album. I'm a HUGE Bjork fan (been a fan since the mid-90s), but I would definitely call this her worst album. The production is all over the place and the songs aren't strong enough to carry the scattered production. Respect you for reviewing this, but literally all of her other albums are better!

I still think to this day that this is her worst album, I'm sorry but I just think it's inconsistent and hasn't aged well (although it was released in 2007.) Anyways, beside that, you should check out ANOHNI's last album, it is incredibly soothing and quite melancholic too.
