The plug in the bathroom is for shaving. We all have mirrors in our rooms and that’s where we get our hair done. Yes doesn’t get dark till after 9pm in the summer but 4pm in the winter, crazy I know. Still love the town. Xx

Ahaha in London we have mirrors in our bedroom and do our hair there, the one in the bathroom is for electric razors or electric toothbrushes

Raven the outlets in UK bathrooms are meant for men's shavers lol ...don't ask 😂 we usually do our hair make up at our dressing tables ( vanitiy) in our bedrooms .hence why you only find the 2 prong plug things in hotel bathrooms.most UK house bathrooms don't have any outlets at all ❤

Great vid, love the props, the ladies did good. The outfits looked great defo to plan. The tongs. Fun fact: In UK there are only sockets for razors and tooth brushes bc of health and safety regs/legal requirements, three prong sockets used for most mains electrical appliances need to be 3m away from a water source, many UK bathrooms are not very large sadly. Many of us Brits are envious of room sizes in many US houses 😆

I am so glad you got to have this experience Raven!! 2 Questions tho - one, regarding this Netflix/Bridgerton Premiere - why is it you were invited so last minute? I mean what is that about? Obviously, anyone invited is going to need a bit of time to prepare - I thought that was a bit odd. But maybe in content creator world it's not?? Also, Zoe - great idea to have clamps - they are always useful in diy world - I believe I've seen you guys use some previously...but do you not read measurements? It always makes me scratch my head when people on line receive items & are so surprised by the size of the item...when it's something you do on the reg - you must know you HAVE to read the measurements!!!! PS - Raven - you looked beautiful throughout your trip & Raven's ladies in waiting - good job keeping it all going whilst your lady was abroad!!

I lived in England for a while, and yep, unfortunately that socket in the bathroom is specifically for men’s shavers (clippers) lol us women are SOL in terms of doing our hair in the bathroom. I actually got excited for a moment when you bought the curling wand because I was like whaaat?! They have hair tools that go in the shaver sockets?! 😅

We don’t use curling irons in the bathrooms in the UK as the voltage is too high, that’s probably why it won’t work. You don’t mix water and 230v.

Yes I did! And I have technically done a couple other red carpets but not a REAL big one with “real celebrities” like this one. Like, I could have a red carpet at my own party but that’s not like a real red carpet experience. There’s levels to it! This one was definitely on a higher level!

The palm trees remind me of the ones I made for my first baby's nursery 13 years ago! 🥹 It was a jungle theme! They were on the wall. I used scrunched up brown gift tissue around a big pool noodle for a trunk, I made the leaves from artificial greenery, I had three coconuts that I made from foam balls covered in brown felt in the middle, and I even had monkeys swinging from the trees with stuffed animals. It was so stinking cute. I thought for sure I'd have to remove them whenever we moved, but the buyers had it in the contract that they HAD to STAY! 😂

You could’ve just asked the front desk for an extension lead because only shavers and toothbrushes work in that socket in the bathroom or ask the receptionist for a mirror for the room , in the uk we just don’t get ready in bathroom’s 😂 it’s more of a vanity table like where you do makeup etc also if you travel to Europe it’s the same thing next time a mirror or extension cord with your adapter £2/ £3 would’ve fixed the issue and I hope you returned that wand for a refund

Those HCB short dresses make one look like ..... The midi dresses are beautiful and make you look put together/ representing yourself and your brand in a postive light is important so short short dresses are not it.

Yeah we only have plugs in the bathroom for razors I’m not sure why I’m guessing it’s because of the risk of water and the electrical items mixing but there’s normally mirrors in the rooms for us to do our hair we don’t do that sort of stuff in the bathroom 😂
