My first ride on a Class 707

On the 09/10/2017 I went on a train journey on a South Western Railway Class 707 for the first time from Windsor & Eton Riverside to Richmond. In 2017 these were the newest trains on the network and they were still carrying the brand and livery of the previous operator South West Trains which recently changed ownership.

I like the display information that are shown on screen. Plus, the design is more or less as good as the new GWR trains.

The 707s future should be with c2c. When the 707s leave SWR by 2019/2020 they should receive a overhaul by installing toilets and photographs for AC overhead.

It's a shame they are going but there are new class 701 trains which are kind of different in the exterior I don't know what the interior is going to look like.

The class 707s are Passing to Southeastern

18 of the Class 707s are with Southeastern now and the remaining 12 of them are going to Southeastern in August 2022 to replace the Networkers

the 707 itself is still a South West Train and not a SWR Train

its annoying that these got released in bright red SWT liveries as soon as SWT changed to SWR, and they're now gonna want to recoat them in the grey livery.
