Great to see you out & about again Colin. I see you weren’t out very long though before you got your first couple of reality checks to remind you of the hazards we face, as motorcyclists! I have done a lot to my Meteor, by way of upgrades & personalisation. I regretted some of the things I did & returned it to stock. Then I realised that, for me, owning a Royal Enfield (my return to motorcycling machine) has been as much about the access to OEM & aftermarket parts as getting back into biking. I’m completely at peace with myself again & enjoy the tinkering as much as the riding. Not all bikes have such a range of parts available & I’m very grateful to RE & others for their contribution. I probably did too much in one go so now I’m taking my time, adding upgrades & service parts in a more timely fashion. Your ‘workshop’ videos have been a great inspiration for me Colin. Keep up the good work & take good care 👍

Hi John, thanks 👍, it was great to be out, although I'm realising that my ankle has a long way to go till it's back to being normal, if it ever was, yes you tend to forget the hazards we encounter every time we go out, I'm sure some car drivers do it just to wind us up, royal Enfield bikes are in my opinion a great machine to own, for their handling ability, their ease of maintenance, but above all how you can personalise them to how you want, and at a very reasonable cost, thanks for watching and take care ..... Colin ☺️

Great to see you out on Gigi……fantastic. What gorgeous blue skies. We have had nowt but dark overcast skies, with a hint of sun. Plus it has been colder. Hopefully you get out again. I be out Monday, first time in a week, Rebelene going in for its 1st year old service 😊 Gigi…..is just singing 🎵 along 😊

Hi Mark, yes Gigi is running like a dream, it's really is a great bike for the kind of area I ride round, plus she's low so not so much pressure on the foot 👣, it was great to get out, the weather was perfect, unlike today as the clouds are back, always nice to get the bike's serviced, thanks for watching, take care ....... Colin ☺️

Hi Colin. Its good to see you back on two wheels and two feet as well without a splint! I have a house in Ireland and saw Biden as its his ancestral home. The Ballina town centre was closed off and he arrived in a helicopter which landed in Tesco's car park. I think he was vice president for Obama at that time. The locals were not impressed. I have seen those beaches when I was a child in the 1970's. There was still a lot of junk laying around and even tanks and armoured cars in hedgerows left there by the officials as a reminder of what happened. I am with you on keeping nations together. On the subject of putting my left foot down, I am with you on the left on my Himalayan. I tend to put bot feet down on my R1150 RT because if it drops, it takes everything I have to get it back upright. Great video Colin and glad to see some sunshine. Its misserable here.

Hi Paul, Yes, it is certainly great to be back on both feet and the bikes, although I'm not out of the woods yet, still having problems with my foot, I can't walk more than 15 minutes before it starts to swell, healing will take a fair time I'm afraid, I love Ireland, I can see why the locals would be a bit upset though, I'm with you all the way on putting both feet down on larger bikes, I rode my BMW 1150rt for years, but as you said once they go, there's no stopping them, so its better to be fully in control when coming to a stop, the Normandy beaches hold such emotion, I don't think I would ever stop going up there, thanks for watching, take care ........colin 😀

I changed my mirrors to the touring ones, cause the original ones were just a blur. Possibly you could just do the de cat pipe Colin. If I get a new one. I think I just do the filter and plate, and a de cat pipe only.😊 There are a few versions of the Hunter unrestricted throttle body. Mine ends in 187. Not really worth it, as you would run out of road, to get it up to 85mph.😂 Pity the Starship Enterprise couldn’t have beamed over there to enjoy the run out, with you.😊

I must admit the only thing I don't like is those mirrors, they look good, but as you say everything becomes a blur, now the ones on my Himalayan are fine, I considered a de cat system, but to be fair for around here she's brilliant, however I may change the rear sprocket as I did on the himi, as that made such a difference, I'll have to talk James T Kirk, .......Colin ☺️
