LOVE TOUR RIVER HUNT VIDS MAN ! You could rig up some sort of portable dredge like in your Alaska vids and that would make quick your of those bank mud finds. if not a dredge, maybe some sort of portable screen box with easily replaceable assorted size plastic screens. The whole rig could be the size of a thick wallet. Thanks for posting

Try bringing a strong magnet with you, bring the ones used for magnet fishing. Probably could be useful when you're metal detecting.

Why not use/make small wire mesh and form/make it into a basket and use it as a sifter and sift all that mud in the creek/river water for faster sifting of the mud ?
