When I was around 6-7 years old I got bad touched by my uncle, later in 3 rd grade was by my brother, and in 5th grade was by my cousin,they again later in 9th garde by my brother (this time told my parents but i didn't got expected response from them and almost went on normalising). The only misconception i had that I'm a part of it and i should be the one feeling guilty but growing up i realised that I was innocent too innocent to not realise repeated assaults. I agree sex education is must in education system but what about people's rotten minds .Today I'm 19 year old and watching this and these things happened to me caused a big trauma to me and i beware dealing with such things but i try to not stay silent and defend myself, but what my parents took a stand against it left me in shock still. I grew up in Canada, India and the US. I learned about sex-ed in Canada in 5th standard - it was fairly explicit. In India, in 8th and 9th we learned about it (for exams) in purely the scientific form (with a preamble where our teacher told us many people had thanked her for this lecture). In the US they learned about it by 8th standard but more explicit like in Canada. I found it SEVERELY lacking in India and without any context, it is extremely confusing and scary.
