I gotta say, it brings joy to my heart to see these first line KM7's get the recognition they deserve. I bought mine for 1.7k€ new in 2015. Had to sell it shortly after due to unrelated reasons. I regreted that decision up until earlier this year where I randomly found the same guy who bought that beauty from me on Ebay. We traded some laughs and the cash and let me tell you. After all these years, I remembered why I fell in love with it in the first place. Schecter and therefore Keith Merrow blew it out of the park designing this range of guitars back then. The issues with the electronics seem to be a known problem tho. Had to put in some work to get rid of the unwanted hum and some wonky connection type of troubles. Have fun revitalising that beauty. It'll be worth it (especially when it comes to that string action. Life did you dirty there)

Whoa, that's awesome! I've been working on the fretwork on the KM7 today, it needed a good amount of levelling and took an awful lot of time. The stainless steel they use on these is no joke! Very excited to get it up to full form.

Ayyy the Mk 1 is a classic. I have the Mk 3 and it’s phenomenal. Definitely the best Schecter guitar imo.

that Ben Eller 7 string tuning thing seems awesome, if i ever get a 7 string I'll check that out, i'm too used to just grabbing a 6 string/baritone for those low tones, Drop F# currently on my Gretsch, I like some of the Erra style ideas in the fullmix demo, curious to see where you'll take this 🙌

I feel that, I've had maybe two hours of play time with 7 strings prior to getting this KM7 - tonnes of baritones, but 7s were never really exciting to me until I started caring about ambient cleans

There’s something magical about 2014 schecters :P maaaaan the finish is so tasty on this one, and the Nazgûl is the best passive pickup I’ve ever played through! -Toby
