I think the good lord gives some people other people's share of talent lol, I've been playing guitar for about 40 years now and can't make a guitar sound that good unless I pay somebody else to play it for me. My daughter on the other hand is gifted with a beautiful voice and plays the piano like she's been playing it all her life.

I feel exactly the same. I've always been found of these guitars and they're still my favorites. There is something sensual when you play them. Needless to say that I'm in love with my 335. But the Sheraton is a very good bargain.

Wow.. you make it seem so effortless! I have around 15 acoustic guitars.. each in different body shapes/sizes, made from different tonewoods, etc. I get so much inspiration when I play a guitar that's got versatility, beautiful tone and overtones, long-lasting sustain.. my baritone acoustic (tuned B to B) is a perfect example. A couple months ago I purchased my first semi-hollowbody! It plays so easily.. has a tone that's addictive.. and will sustain notes longer than any of my acoustics. It's a guitar that if I pick it up to play, I better be sure I won't need to set it down any time soon.

Ha, I subscribed long before the great Rick Beato featured Helen Ibe. I was looking for covers of Hendrix's 'Little Wing' and Helen's version is just transcendental! She's just so fluid, uplifting, and her playing features surprise turns that sound startlingly novel, but utterly right at the same time. That chord at 1:50 above, for example, a II chord where a V would be expected, is a F#min13, but she takes it even further than that when the 13th, a D# makes a beautiful semitone clash with the 7th, the open E string! Hair standing up on my head!
