So good. I held off watching this until I knew I could sit uninterrupted, relaxed and give it my full attention. Worth the wait. I’ve run out of superlatives. Every minute of time and effort that has gone into this is appreciated. Not only is the production top notch as always, but the writing just keeps on taking me by surprise and the segue from intro to infomercial to demo is seamless. Just loving this. Really lovely sound coming out of that D’Angelico too. You’ve got a magic formula here. And your playing from around 20mins is inspired.

Tried out a friend's D'Angelico premier ss thinking i was just going to hear a real mellow jazz guitar. Found out it does absolutely everything. Its got SD Filtertron style pickups and does everything from mellow Earl Klugh to chimey chicken-pickin. So i bought it from him. Have a whole new respect for D'Angelico now.

What can't a Gretsch do?😉 On the D'Angelico Another name that had endured time. The originals where masterpieces in the highest regard. This model your playing makes me want to buy one. On the neck radius, I know that's definetly true for some guitarists... I'm still not as big a fan of the Silver Sky, even the SE, becuase I prefer at least 9.25. I will admit once you get thinner...like I can tell a 16 from a 12, but 14 feels about the same depending on the curve. 😂 great video man

I have put it a lot of diff places. In front of modulation, last in fx loop after verb, in the front of fx and it always sounds good. Right now I got it at beginning of fx loop and it’s working great.

@@SuperdangerStudios thank you. It seems to work well in most locations. I currently have it before the Del-Verb and after the MAX, Protein, a phaser and a Boss OC-5. When I use it, It limits the need for some other pedals. A lot of fun to experiment with. Best channel for learning more about tone crafting and always entertaining.

Do you prefer the iridium over the uafx stuff? I love uafx dream 65. Got them all but currently obsessed with the dream.

I love them all for different sounds. If I want a really tight sound I choose the iridium. If I want a looser more open sound I go for UAFX. I’ve been using the ox stomp w the iridium and I feel that’s a great balance of tight and natural. They all sound really good though!
