I never understand why people never elaborate, Vernon was born in New York but saying he's "half American" doesn't mean anything because there are so many different races and ethnicities in America. Vernon is half Korean and half White which is why he "looks American" especially to Koreans in Korea. He experienced some pretty bad bullying and racism for being half white when he went to school in Korea which lead him to the decision to drop out, he hasn't even graduated middle school according to him. Now that he's a star and is older there's not much racism towards him at least in the open but he definitely still gets questions from Korean hosts about being a "foreigner" despite the fact that he's lived in Korea since he was 5 and is half Korean which is why he pushes the fact that he's Korean and has stressed multiple times that he feels more connected to his Korean roots rather than his "American" roots.

The reason Minghao is called the the8 it's because, the number 8 is lucky in Chinese culture and if you turn the "8" on it's side it represents an infinity symbol

I don’t think that’s the reason why he’s called the8 but that is some cool facts, “the8” was originally supposed to be adopted by dk (because it’s pronounced ‘D’8 and the D stood for 8 dragons singing since dk has a powerful singing voice) but it was given to Minghao instead, correct me if I’m wrong (this was all information I got from one of knowing bros episodes that seventeen was in)

OMFG YASSSSS!!!!!!!!! I love them so freaking much! So glad you're getting into another one of my favs!!! Some things that weren't mentioned: They write their own lyrics too and multiploe members have written lyrics for their songs and Dino is also one of the choreographers. In addition to the many songs they have done as a group, each subunit has some of their own songs, a lot of them also have some solo songs, and they've done little subunit songs as well. One of the reasons Vernon has to establish that his IS Korean is because he does look a bit different (as you noticed) and that is because while his dad is Korean, his mother is not. As Vernon said though, he is more Korean than American since he primarily grew up in Korea and was only in America for a brief time when he was really young. Seventeen is one of, if not THE, funniest kpop groups ever! Like they are literally so chaotic and generally have me in TEARS! Wonwoo is my bias, these days S.Coups is trying to make me double bias though. My main wreckers are Hoshi and Minghao (The 8) but the entire rest of the group are also wreckers. Also, about Minghao's stage name: His name is The8 because 8 is considered a lucky number and because of the infinity symbol. I know one time when he introduced himself he said "I'm The* with infinite potential" so. I'm sure other CARATs can elaborate on that a bit more, I'm actually still a baby CARAT myself. You are going to LOVE their music! Now I know what to request on Patron, lots of Seventeen!

Jeonghan is basically beomgyu's nature + einstein IQ so that man's cheating tricks are actually VERY clever. like not just is he cheating but it can't be considered cheating exactly bcoz he has just outsmarted everyone. he is smart af and is REALLY convincing and manipulative like he could gaslight people into thinking pigs can fly. Unfortunately, his IQ hasn't been revealed but it's defo VERY HIGH (in b/w 140-160 fosho)

I watched your Ateez and NCT reactions and omg I just thought yesterday that I have to go to your Patreon soon and request some Seventeen videos and now someone else already did it😂 Jeonghan (the guy who you said looks cute) is my ult kpop bias and Seventeen is my ult group! They are seriously so hilarious. Omg you finally reacted to SEVENTEEN! If there will be another kpop boy group that I will stongly stan (aside from BTS) it will definitely be SEVENTEEN but I can't say I'm a CARAT just yet, I always listen to their songs and they have a new album btw called FACE THE SUN my favorite song in their new album by far is Don Quixote because of the trailer it was so good Mingyu's voice in that song is just- I'm addicted😂 I know you'll love them! The dynamic duo/ships whatever you called it I like is JeongCheol and Minwon/Meanie (it's just the same) But of course we all love every member and they are so funny😭
