Congratulations! And you couldn't have done it in a nicer aircraft...

Why altimeter set to runway level? Not set zero before takeoff? Is it a domestic rules or a mistake of a pilot& Like.
@santiagokiwi31873 жыл бұрын
Because you're supposed to set the altimeter to altitude above sea level, not zero. I've never known anywhere that's different.

@@santiagokiwi3187 in Russia they use QFE (zero at airfield)

Santiago Kiwi UK also uses QFE (landing at 0)

@@santiagokiwi3187 Different in uk, we "tend" to set QFE giving actual height above runway and actual cct height, however some airfields give QNH but QFE on request.

@@santiagokiwi3187 Nope. Not always. You meant QNH. But QFE, above field elevation is used too.. See other replies.

It looks like you didn't set propeller RPM to max before landing
@joopbekkema64903 жыл бұрын
He did it on downwind or base, as is in the checklist

@@joopbekkema6490 Negative, the Prop lever is in different position when comparing the start (of the video) and landing. The checklist does not mean he did it.
@joopbekkema64903 жыл бұрын
Zoltán Németh the prop us ajusted to full somewhere in the circuit. Like the checklist requires you to do. As a matter of facts circuits should be flown with prop in max RPM.
@joopbekkema64903 жыл бұрын
Zoltán Németh are you sure you know which is Prop? It is the blue one.

@@joopbekkema6490 As a flight instructor and currently instructing on the Virus I don´t agree with you. The Pipistrel online manual says after reaching circuit altitude RPM 4900 and MaP 19 (but it is somewhere between 19 - 23 depends on air temperature, weight) and after turn no.3 LDG light on - Power IDLE - RPM Max - and after slowing down to 81 kt FLAPS 1.
