My favourite thing about the Golden Bear toys is how they look really simplistic and in some cases kind of bad, the faces were always immaculate. Like I think these are some of the best, most accurate recreations of the faces ever.

I remember the My First Thomas books and toys. I had a Golden Bear Thomas when I was 3. The blue Cranky looks weird. As for Railway Pals, the only time I remember it was seeing Thomas in that SML video where Junior blew up Chef PeePee into space.

golden bear has to be my favourite, pretty cool with talking and interactives in it, the static ones are fine, for those people who just wants to roll them without their eyes moving or hearing a chuff sounds when the talking toy switch is on, cranky isnt great lol, he has the hook under his face for some reason and idk why, and yeah, they probally were color-blind or they thought it looked cool, but they should've got a green cranky aswell as the blue cranky, the truck's faces do look good in my opinion, but they missed out gordon, henry, toby and duck in the talking rage which is kinda sad, also ima say something not in the vid but still my first thomas, percy is a recoloured of thomas, BUT i pretty much like that style even though it will look like a e2 oc, i can see the percy in it cuz, green, the face is percy and its number 6 so thats only percy that is a recolour. i only own a few tho, a Talking thomas which i got yesarday from car boot, with a static edward, then the ones that i didnt get from a car boot was a while back i got a Talking Oliver and a Talking james (i also got static henry, victor) and talking flynn

I think My First Thomas is good. While I am not a fan of the engines being children, it somehow makes the engines look kinda cute and to be honest the designs atleast got most of the details right unlike All Engines Go and atleast the golden bear Thomas characters had those amazingly accurate faces! I would be fully open to a revival if the My First Thomas books but the revival we got pretty much destroyed the franchise and I think a main part of that is the beautiful Thomas illustrations like the ones from Owen Bell or the ones in the menu of the original DVDs that have that have that nice warm Sodor feeling! I can also say the same for the My First Thomas books because while it was made for a younger audience it still remained with that Sodor feeling despite it being simplified and in my opinion it still feels like Thomas to me!

@@staticsoul+ Thomas & Friends is still a children's brand from it's own use of generation, and little did we know, content for younger children do change over the years. Fewer fans do not remotely care, they have watched the Hit Era, they watched the Sharon Miller as well, and have been fans of BWBA, despite how it saturates the base of the whole series. Yet, TATMR and AEG are different entity canons. I may not be a fan of certain eras, but i do not claim Thomas (a talking little blue steam engine) as a show for everyone. The Railway Series was read for children who got to re-read them when they get older. but, that doesn't stop Thomas from never being a children's property. this fandom can be so gatekeeping from time to time over a cartoon show about talking trains. we still have fan content to create various storylines with.

Which is why I'd rather look at other fandoms, that are a bit more comfortable in my opinion. Or better still, just join them temporarily, rather than for ages. I do want to see Brannon Carty's upcoming documentary about the fandom, I'll give you that.
