*Since recording this I absolutely encountered bugs and glitches, especially in The Sims 2 😂😂 Just an FYI since this was pre-recorded.

Awesome vids. I first played sims 1 back in 2002 when i was grade 4 student back then. I remember when building a house, i always forget painting the walls because of limited starting funds and yes the lots were kinda expensive back then 😂 Btw, OG sims players will remember the base game money cheat wasnt rosebud, it was klapaucius. ❤

Such a simple game but still the items and decorations have a lot of effort and design put in them. This game was ahead of its time.

@@tiesl1425 This and The Sim 2, even The Sims 3, FAR ahead of their time!!

2000? I was 12/13. The sims was my jam. I asked for SimCity 2000 for Christmas the dude at GameStop gave her a thing called The Sims. Said I would like it much more. Now my mom regrets it. lol.

There’s swatches on some things! You just have to hover over the thumbnail longer. Things like beds even allow you to choose the frame and sheets separately.

Hmm I may have overlooked it. I mainly saw that in The Sims 2, not in The Sims!!

Impressive video, MissSimReno. Looking forward to your next upload. I tapped the thumbs up icon on your content. Keep up the fantastic work! Your exploration of building in the original Sims was really engaging. Have you thought about how the limitations of the earlier game might influence the creativity of modern players revisiting it?

I bought both. I’m loving all the gameplay. The older games were so fun….

I'm sorry to tell you but I think the armchair blocks the bookshelf. Sims need to stand straight in front of it to take a book.

LOL. The Sims Corporation definitely put millennials in a chokehold over this game. You did very good for the limitations. It's amazing how many memories are coming back from the nostalgia!

I shouldn’t have been touching this game when it came out either (I was 8) but my friends and I would sit around the computer giggling at making the sims kiss until they had a baby 😂

SAME 😂😂😂 We'd make sure the adults were out of ear shot when we made them woohoo, even though we didn't actually know what was happening. We knew it was naughty.
