Honestly, I'm surprised Hafu's never done any cooking before (even meals that literally add the sauce from a jar), but it's great to see I'm not the only one who struggles with cooking like a basic human, but it's also very impressive how much of a quick learner she is, especially since most of these things are about physical control/movement. Trying to chop the veg, moving the pot and accidentally throwing things out, getting tired doing simple tasks - can definitely relate.

One piece of advice - reserve some of the pasta water (~1/2 cup) to mix in with the egg and cheese. Carbonara sauce is an emulsion, which requires fats and starches in suspension to thicken a liquid. The pasta water provides the starch component and will help achieve the right consistency.
