MY FIRST TIME cooking TURKISH food

Thought I’d try something new in this video, so here’s my attempt at cooking Turkish cuisine ⇩⇩Click ‘show more’⇩⇩
As you know we are currently not travelling due to the current circumstances, so we won’t be posting travel vlogs for the time being. But, we decided what better way to experience international cuisine than by attempting to cook it ourselves and sharing the recipes with you. So in today’s video, I attempt to make the popular Turkish dish, Karniyak, which is stuffed eggplants. This is my first time making this dish and I had a few hurdles but I think we made it in the end haha!

I didn't even know I had a kiwi accent until we started making KZbin videos and people especially other kiwis from around the world would say they recognized us as kiwi from our accents or words we'd say (like jandals etc) 😂 Aw thanks! The real resson for salting is actually to get the juşces out. The eggplat has very bitter juice, you normally rub them in salt and wrap them in a towel/paper towel for half an hour.

congratulations! this is a difficult meal, you did a little different but it's successful for the first time. next time you can try making an easier meal, called "kuru fasulye"

Well I have tried stuffed vegetables before and actually I have made here for G and L, so I say they are delicious!!!! Capsicums, which you have also made, cabagge rolls, grape leaf rolls I love them!!!! Have you tried them? That is Middle East food!!
