My first time drifting a mountain road (legally)

This might be one of the coolest "tracks" I've ever driven if you include the risk, the scenery and the unique opportunity to drive on a closed road. Since I didn't have a car ready, my friend Kelly offered to let me take his car (which was a car I built 5 years ago).
This video is mainly driving footage with a lot of voiceover of me explaining what was going on and what was going through my head.
The end of this video I have some Jerry Springer final thoughts about my experience and while it may not benefit me for doing so, I give an honest impression of the event and quality of driving. I'm really looking forward to some spicy comments.
Big thanks to Edgar and Brian for making this happen. It really is a unique opportunity in the United States for a different type of drifting experience. This really is for extremely advanced drivers and it is pretty dangerous (which is what I love about it). So before you say "I wish I could go" you need to consider your skill level and abilities. Some drivers that were there I found to be lacking in ability to drive such a difficult course (and they were all hand selected). So while it may look fun, it is definitely not for everyone. I can't imagine open registration ever being a thing for this type of event.
Also big thanks to Kelly and Jesse for coming along with me and helping on this journey. I couldn't do it without you guys.

@@zachdonaldson9845 I love the track (etown), there are some really good drivers but the people are not nice or friendly and not down to tandem (that's a generalization based on my observations). Chris Napp is super nice and accommodating. He must not be a native 🤣🤣🤣

Honestly I looked at who went off the mountain that weekend and if you pay close attention it was mostly the guys who were driving hard at the limit. The guys who never left 2nd gear mostly stayed on course. I'm not too concerned who has what to say about me. I just do my thing and people can think what they want. Thanks for looking out.

Great runs. What tires did you run?

@@evilpanamajack Day 1 I had some 265 pilot sport 2 take offs. Way too much grip and terrible tire life. Ran 2 pairs of those on the first day. 2nd day I ran 285 Accelera 651 and they lasted all day. We took 40 tires and used 6. I couldn't sleep on the bed in my trailer because of all the extra tires that we didn't end up using.
